Great news!!! Today I am 11,000 days old!! Molly has organized a lovely incredible afternoon! The plan (as I know it):

1. Ultimate tournament in the late morning,
2. meet the gang at UH entrance 5 at 1pm,
3. play a round of disc golf on UH campus,
4. watch Gladiators (oh, that reminds me; I'm s'posed to call my dad when we figure out when the movie is; maybe he can go!)
5. dinner, etc, whatever
6. Ultimate with Saturday Night Specials at UH entrance 5

Wow! Can I play enough frisbee in one day?

More great news! I scanned the pics of Spot climbing the banister!!! This is David Letterman quality stuff here! Maybe just maybe I'll send them in to his show.

Wende

Today is my 11,000th day. Bigger celebration than any birthday. Even 30th. When I got out of the shower, I found a card from Wende on the sink. Inside is a Classic Pooh card.

"We'll be friends forever, won't we, Pooh?" asked Piglet.

"Even longer," Pooh answered.

I cried.

I'm sad that Wende is unavailable for the celebrations today.

This morning I worked on labeling pictures in my archive. New pics are under cats/spot_stairs and new notes are under "Old Pics from UH" (or something like that). Fun fun stuff!

I hope to get lots more pics today.

Ultimate this morning was windy and soaking sopping ucky muddy wet. Despite lots of sliding, I got a few good defensive blocks, and a couple of great catches. Because of the wind, I caught two (or three) catches over/behind the intended recipient. That was awesome.

I got some pics, plus a pic of most of the team with muddy legs.

I slightly injured my big toe, cramming mud up under my toenail. Ow. Also slid under some rock and slightly cut the cuticle above the same big toe. Ow. Also skinned my knee sliding and catching the disc for a point.

- - (we gotta go)

Um, met Molly, Maggie, John, Will at UH for a lovely game of disc golf. We played 19 holes and dropped the worst scoring hole each. I got 74, Will got 70, John got 94, Maggie 115, Molly 105. Great fun!!

Now we're at my house, showered, and going to Gladiators!
