Wow!!!

This is pretty frikkin' fly! I just received my stowaway keyboard for my Handspring Visor! I can now write journal entries so crazy super fast anywhere I go! It fold into fourths and fits into my pocket!

It's a bit weird to have the keyboard slightly flexing when I hit keys on the near the ends of the keyboard, like backspace and shift, but I totally love it!

For example, whereas it would normally have taken me like 15 minutes to type all this text, it's only taken me about 2 or 3.

Sweet!!

This Handspring keyboard is pretty awesome.

The supervisor profile got overwritten on our PDC (Primary Domain Controller) (Doh!) so we're restoring it from tape. (Ahhh.) (The restore didn't work. (Doh!))

Did I mention that I scrapped my most recent project? I did scrap it; I recognized that it was cool, but would not be very useful once it was completed.

So I'm working on my next project, which is a 2-part deal:
1) Retrofit an old project so that the text is data-driven so that it can be viewed in different languages (English and Japanese)
2) Use my new 'inheritance' to make the project cool and more easily updated.

Very nice. I'll make the changes in the order described above, because I think it will be easier and just makes more sense.

Oh, and actually step (0) is to read through the code to figure out what the project is doing now.

This keyboard so totally rocks!  
This was a great investment for us to make.   Yippie!!!

That's what Wende had to type about this keyboard when I showed her.

Right now it's 12:13am on, um, Friday 7 July now. I'm going to leave this set up next to the bed so I can capture my dreams even more effectively!
