Special super duper thanks to Wende for taking a couple pictures of my cool bumper sticker. We caravanned to Rice's stadium parking lot, so the pictures could include the stadium in the background. It was overcast, so the camera used the flash; the license plate might reflect back brightly, but I'm hopin' the sticker will be visible.

Today my schedule includes

9:00am pick up prints of pictures mentioned above

scan the pics and email them to the webmaster of www.savektru.org

12:00pm pick up flyers at Rice

1:00pm Rally planning meeting for YRUU at church

4:00pm Receive phone call from Kevin to coordinate a time to meet him this evening at work

after that: install NAIC software on Wende's computer.

The last two items are a result of me losing my access card to the building where we work. Kevin planned to go in today; I'm just going to meet him there.

years, has been shut down by the administration of
Rice University.  
The
reason is simple; the administration wants KTRU to
play more sports, 
but
the station and the student body reject this.  In
order to get what 
they
want the administration has resorted to force and

Then show up for a RALLY on the center quad of Rice
campus:

Monday, December 4, 2000 4:30 pm

This will be an organized rally with faculty and
student speakers.  We
expect a very large turn out with lots of media
attention.

Ktru has the support of virtually the entire Rice
campus, now we need 
the 
support of our listeners.   We believe that the entire
Houston 
community has 
a stake in this issue, and therefore we encourage all
people to attend.

I checked my work email and found messages indicating a couple of changes that needed to be made to the French text on a couple of images. Fixed them with The Gimp (The Gnu Image ManiPulator) and got them on the site.

Then picked up pix from walgreens and scanned them at Kinko's. Emailed them from Kinko's to the webmaster of www.savektru.org; maybe they'll be on that site soon.

Picked up flyers at Rice and then went to Rally planning meeting. Meeting was great and productive; we pretty much know what groups will do what jobs.

Cool.

Then chilled out for a bit and then stopped by work before saying HI to peeps at Rice and coordinating how we will set up the new KTRU Booth tomorrow at 7:30am.

Home to a lovely dinner of ravioli and then watched Futurama, Simpsons and Malcom in the Middle with Wende.

Yay!
