All night

6:11am Friday 9 February 2001

I arrived here at work around 9:30pm last night and worked for some hours and got great coding done. At around 2am I was all, "Hell yeah!" and "I'm going to sleep."

Slept for about 3 or 4 hours, and I've just been reading AOL news and stuff; about to get back to working.

I just called Wende to wish her a lovely day.

7:00am

I just ate breakfast at the local diner. Much much better now!

Still going strong on my programming project today. Kasi got us Pizza from Star Pizza, the best pizza place in Houston! I only had $2, so I owe her $2.75 now.

I'm listening to NIN _things falling apart_ over and over and over.

oops. Now I'm getting tired. I think the pizza in my tummy helped with that. I may take a nap for a bit and then write some more code.

Rob: we are leaving Monday evening, which is in 3 days!
Bryn: so you will be here wednesday! NO TUESDAY FOR YOU!!!
Rob: and we will arrive Wednesday morning 9:15am
Bryn: haha! No Tuesday! No Tuesday!!! You're traveling through time! How cool is that???

I just talked to Bryn on AIM. So very exciting to get to see her! I'm super thrilled that she is coming down from Brisbane to see us in Melbourne. We'll get to play lots of Silent Football!

I'm leaving work now; not getting much done at this point. I'll be back in tomorrow morning.

I just got home and took a shower. I had been at work for 20 hours! Kevin jokingly said, "well, then you really didn't put in a full day of work; just part of a day." hahaha

I actually only logged about 16 hours of time because I slept part of the time.

Tonight Wende and I are going to Molly and Will's for dinner! I think most of our gang will be there tonight; I'm glad to get to see them again before we leave!

Dinner at Molly and Will's was great and lovely fun. Dinner was fabulous thanks to Molly, and all the glasses matched thanks to Will. Eric and Meredith actually arrived later than me an' Wende because they first thought it was at Maggie and John's house.

After dinner we talked a bit and I helped Will work on their 8000 piece puzzle of the painting on the ceiling of the Sistine (sp) Chapel. I was able to place 6 pieces, including the two red pieces that Will had been unable to place for some days! I didn't show will where I put them, and I didn't even tell him that I placed them, but I wrote it in his puzzle log book.

(He's keeping a log of the numbers of pieces placed per day. He's up to 6400 now.)

Wende's parents sent us their digital video recorder so we can take it to Australia! John helped me figure out how to use it today. Wende was all, "there's a book in the camera bag."

"Tsk, Wende!!!"

Wrassled with their dog Scout for a while and then went home.

I'm going to bed now, and will be up and back at work tomorrow morning.
