I woke up to finish writing my speech and email it off to Ayana before our lesson tomorrow. Checked my email and had a message from Ayana, who needs to cancel our lesson tomorrow.

For some reason, the translation of this speech isn't going as originally planned.

Miki is a student who said she wanted to meet me. I told her I have a girlfriend and she still wanted to meet me so I emailed her and was like, "I dunno who you are, but hi" (I got her address from Bill who said she wanted to meet me). She said she would say "I'm Miki" next time she sees me at work. Today was that day. ah I've seen you.

Chatted with Stephanie at lunch today. We share a similar unlove for Nova. She seems pretty clear that she's not enjoying her experience here - doesn't know if she'll make it past a month.
