Before work, I happened to see Junko at the convenience store as I got my daily sustenance. 2 liters of Pocari Sweat and some bento. In line I was like lalala and then "oh shit! Junkosan, I don't have any money."

"Nani?"

"watashiwa okane janai"

"nai?"

"Can I borrow some money???"

"iio iio"

"iio janai. demo arigato ne."

Fuckin' hell I'm glad I remembered while we were in line instead of when I was at the register, and even moreso I'm glad that Junko was there at all!!!

I got money and paid her back during my lunch.

Work

Work dragged today. I had some comfortable students that I often have on Monday mornings, but it wasn't as fun as I wanted it to be. Just kinda blahy.

Part of it is cause my right hand/wrist/arm hurts. That sucks, dude. I wrote a lot less today than I used it. I was going to say usually do, but I might have just changed my style of teaching.

Usually I write everything for Yumi, but tonight we'll see what happens.

The new CAT system of filling files is a bit wack; I don't feel really comfortable with my calibre of comments. Partially, now this could just be a wild guess, but it quite possibly could be because I've received no training about them. Just grasping at non-existant straws here.

To a large extent I'm like good; fuck off, training; I don't want you anyway. This is not as much sour grapes as sick of Nova and don't really want to do a good job for Nova anymore. Unless something really fucked up happens at the Gaba orientation (or if I'm not offered that job), I'm leaving Nova soooon.

Yumi and I met for only an hour cause her stomach was upset due to her finding out today that she would have to pay 100,000 yen or so to change her flight and homestay plans in Australia. Damm that sucks dude. That's a lotta money. She went to the doctor today cause her eye was still irritated and the doctor said she shouldn't go to OZ in 5 days. Her eye had been way inflamed during the week and she had gone to the Dr, etc, but just today he said she shouldn't go to OZ. $1000 bang.

Yumi hates butterflies. But she would prefer the following, in this order:

10 butterflies on her head
seppuku
riding a roller coaster
bunjee jumping
sky diving

Today I taught her "I would never go sky diving" and "never say never."

She has been parasailing (7 times in one day (*)) and rather enjoyed it.

(*) she originally said, "I went parasailing 7 times a day."

She said that Gaba is reportedly a better company than Nova.
