Entries this day: Before_class Class Work Before class 11:47am JST Friday 11 June 2004 On my way to Motosumiyoshi station, a guy was like, "HI" to me in the street like he knows me but it turns out he was propositioning me for sex. He started with, "what train station is that?" pointing back toward Motosumiyoshi though he was coming *from* that direction. Should have been the first tip, plus he was on a bicycle, second tip (lost people don't have bikes). Fuck I was mad that he lied to me to get my attention. I was close to missing the train because of him. But, because the train was 2 minutes late, I didn't miss it. It was arriving just as I got into the station; had it not been late, I woulda missed it and I woulda wanted to kill that guy. Why all this talk about killing people? What's gotten into my brainwaves these days? I was two minutes late to class, which would normally not be a problem because Ayana is always late. permalinkClass 11:43am JST Friday 11 June 2004 Class was cool today; Ayana was there on time, which surprised me. She was quite proud of her accomplishment and was in quite a good mood. I chowed shrimp macaroni and cheese for breakfast while we chatted about my having seen Troy. I wanted to gush about how cool Brad Pitt's character was in killing the tall bad guy, but Ayana hadn't seen the movie yet wanted to so I said nothing except he was cool. permalinkWork 1:35pm JST Friday 11 June 2004 I called work to see what time is my first class, but for about 30 minutes the phone was busy. So I called the area manager and inquired about my first class. 3:15pm. So I asked him to close my 2:30 lesson. He said he okay. I fixed lunch, ate a couple of gyouza (sp) (offered by Riki) and headed in to work. Ironically, I'll be on time for the 2:30pm lesson (though it's been closed). I called work (to see if they would answer and) to see what time my last lesson is today. My last lesson is at 10pm. My first lesson is at 3:15. But 2:30 is open; do I want to close it? wtf? 2:30 is open? What did that other cat mean? Did he close my lesson or not? Whose lesson did he close? There's no proof to say he said he would close it, and I fear the onous (my first time to use this word; I don't know if I like it) would be on me if I weren't there and it got booked. Fuck. - - - - On subsequent inquiry, it seems that Tomoko didn't refresh the window before reporting the lesson was still open. Need some basic database / web awareness here. permalinkprev day next day |
