Japan 12:49pm JST Thursday 17 June 2004 And finally, back to the mystery: First, figure out everything you can about this picture. If one is Jen, one would discern a list like the following:
Right? Right? Look at the picture. Right? - - - - - - - - Okay. Now look at this picture. Four steps! Oh Japan, why are you so silly? But, it gets even *better*. - - - - - - - - - - - - How, you ask, how could it be even better than that?? Check this out. large version (460k) After the escalator are more steps!!!! Turns out, this escalator is the shortest in the world according to the Guinness Book. permalinkWork 2:09pm JST Saturday 19 June 2004 Oh dear. I just found out that Mieko is within 2 months of my age. She's an awesome student, and I've always liked her. Now I like her more. oops. fuck; gotta let it go. Gotta find a bad point. 5:37pm About to go to lunch with Jesse. I slept during my first break. Ate the bentos Hitomi made during my second. Going to eat the rest of the last bento during this break. - - - - Been mildly passive aggressive toward my students who won't study, take notes, nor whatever 6:13pm Hackeysack with Jesse was cool because we were kicking well and two Japanese guys joined us, and they could kick well and spoke English well. Wow. They asked, "why are you so nice?" which is either a poorly worded question or an unfortunate question to have to ask. We called the more talkative guy Wild Bill Kick. 6:56pm Hmm. My first lesson after the break was a no show. Should have been Fumie, a woman who knows assembly! permalinkprev day next day |
