Is it too much to ask for a little grammatical accuracy on the front page of Gaba's English website?????????????? I mean good god, people; we're supposed to be English teachers here.

Is it too much to ask for one day off?

Three money things:

1. Mariko called off her arranged wedding. (whoohoo! for her sake)

2. We had an awesome long earthquake a while ago.

3. Just talked to a guy who told me about a 2 day trip to a semi-active (at least way climbable) volcanic island off the coast of Tokyo. Cooool.

4. I just spent the last lesson talking about languages with Tomoko, taught her the ASL alphabet, the Spanish alphabet and how to count to 10 in Spanish.

Studying is hard, but I enjoy knowing languages.

I found a free online course to learn esperanto. Shall I?

Called Miki; will hang out with her tonight after our respective jobs finish.

Hanging out with Miki was fun; we chatted and munched at Doutour in Motosumiyoshi (on the other side of the tracks); I told her Olivia's story from Turkey and Miki told me about her adventures in teaching and not going to Nova. She asked a couple of English questions which I was happy to answer.

Walked her to the bus stop and blew a smooch to her as she got on the bus.

We'll hang out at her place on 22nd so she can learn how to do email online.
