Entries this day: Dizzy Dream_in_japanese Greed Work zzzzarimaa Dizzy 4:10pm JST Tuesday 26 October 2004 During the night and a few times today, I've felt unnecessarily dizzy. This has happened to me in the past, and it's certainly not the most pleasant feeling in the world, but it hasn't persisted for more than a day, so I've never sought any information about the source. Today I wondered if it might have been caused by chowing too much sugar last night. I ate some not-pure-sugar food this morning and felt a bit normal after that. Then I ate some white chocolate and after walking downstairs, when I bent over to pick up my shoes, I felt whoahdizzy and had to sit down. Hmmm. permalinkDream in japanese 6:59am JST Tuesday 26 October 2004 Twice I woke up from dreams and asked a question in Japanese. "もいかいしたい?" after riding a motorcycle across the city. "だれはUnitedNationsのボス?" after being invited to meet Kofi Annan. permalinkGreed 4:16pm JST Tuesday 26 October 2004 I saw a link to g-r-e-e-d.com and spent 3 hours reading the main article there. My brain is still working on grokking it all. Or, grokking what to do with the ideas. permalinkWork 4:17pm JST Tuesday 26 October 2004 I'm at work now, and it appears that I won't have 100% no-shows today. Mieko, who has my first lesson, is already here for her first lesson, with Andrew. permalinkzzzzarimaa 2:36am JST Wednesday 27 October 2004 Just came across Arimaa, a game which uses a chess board and has been designed specifically to be difficult for computers to play, but easy for humans to play. A different game I'm playing is stay warm cause it's fucking cold in Tokyo. The game I'd like to be playing is get some good ideas on my new website design. Gotta go to bed, but I want to check in on BBST for a second. Oh, today after work, I told Katrina the stories of my top five most interesting skating adventures: underground linoleum, Jesus Saves, George R. Brown Convention center, Galleria and back on 6 wheels, Jones Hall launch ramp, plus how I met Diane on skates and went to her palm reading party. Katrina took note of my tears shed when he told me I was supposed to do something for the world. "That means it struck a chord with your soul; it must be true." permalinkprev day next day |
