Ugh.

My nose is itchy and clogged and runny.

My neck hurts like crap.

It's coldish (yet sunny) outside.

When my sinuses are all wack like this, I don't like to talk. At any moment snot might just start pouring out like a snot faucet. Ick.

For this reason, when I met Riho for our English/Chinese exchange, I made it an English/English give.

I can imagine a future where I'll want to actually do something, and for that future, I was able to make it to the store to buy groceries (10 eggs (no dozens), spinach, pre-cooked sausages) plus non-janette-quality strawberry pudding/custard snack.

And I can imagine a future where it's realllly cold in my room, so I refilled my gas heater with 600 yen worth of kerosene. Way cheaper and more efficient than electricity.

After looking at the interactive games on zefrank.com (some are really good/cool), I took a phat nap in the afternoon. Took a sinus capsule before the nap and feel better after the nap, maybe not-coincidentally. I have a bit of a headache still, though. I stopped by a bike shop to get foot pegs for the back axel so Hitomi and i can more easily ride Mimibike together. I indicated with my hand what I wanted, and he said, "stepu?" and I'm like, "hai" and he said he didn't have any, but went on elaborately about something else, possibly why he doesn't have them and/or where I can get some.

I went to the next bicycle-sales place (department store) and indicated with my hand and asked for a stepu. He was like, "??" and went to another bike and did the exact same hand gesture and asked, "stand?" Yes, stand.

He was like, "Ummmmmmmmmmmmm" and I'm like, "do you have them?" and he got his courage and said, "kochiwa, nai."

Thank you. Okay. And I rolled out.

Now I'm on the limited express train to Shibuya for my 7pm lesson with Takako.

After lesson (she bought a dated but good book with conversations and then the grammar points in detail) and dinner and roller coaster TV shows at Jimmy's, I went to Jonathon's to study. I didn't order drink bar; I just got drinks. Hitomi came after a while and checked my work and got her own drinks, assuming I had ordered for both of us.

We could have jetted, I'm guessing, and I think we would have, had we not just started this every-night study routine there.

This was the first night she stood on Mimibike's seat on the way back and I was really nervous, but she was really not. We made it back with no problems.

Watched the end of Star Wars Episode 2 from Yoda's crazy light saber fight until Amidala and Anakin were getting married. Showered, now bed.
