Entries this day: Gateway_CDs Work gateway_CD gateway_data1 gateway_data2 Gateway CDs 1:56pm JST Monday 13 December 2004 Hitomi is helping me find a shop where I can buy CDs from the Gateway series, produced by The Monroe Institute. I'm excited about having them; I wonder what will come next. permalinkWork 11:54pm JST Monday 13 December 2004 I survived work today. Didn't kill anyone as I predicted I might. The first 6 students (including one double lesson) were between good and great, and the last one is a student who chooses my lessons more often than I would choose his lessons. What karma is there? "Gosh, she is beautiful" Mai told me about a place where I can make molten glass objects for 3000 yen for a four hour lesson or something like that. Sounds pretty cool! And by cool, I mean *HOT*! 1200 degrees, she said, and I assume that's C. permalinkgateway CD 11:55pm JST Monday 13 December 2004 I'm about to get ready for bed and use my new CD walkman and noise cancellation headphones to listen to my first Gateway CD/tape in about 5 years. (probably longer, but I'm really not sure how long it's been) My idea is to listen to the CDs, noting the time of day, and all the other pertinant variables that I might want to know after however many odd years of data collection, and then write some amazing document about my experiences. One thing that I've considered as an item is which nostrils I can breathe through easily. My sinuses seems to be clogged everyday, sometimes changing with the hour which side is clear. But very often, it's exactly one side xor the other. Okay, tooth brushing time, in case I flat fall asleep. permalinkgateway data1 CD/track Wave I / Discovery 1: Orientation body position flat on back with pillow under knees CD player Panasonic SL-CT510 (portable) headphones Sony MDR-NC11A Noise Canceling ambient temperature 20 C clothing socks, red flannel jammie pants, white T-shirt, knit cap working nostril(s) left emotional state relaxed, a bit excited physical head fine neck sore stomach fine pain/soreness left middle finger bruised phone/door off/locked time allowed 10 hours ambient light nearly dark ambient noise nearly none location room 20 Millenium House date/time 12:51am JST Tuesday 14 December 2004 1:26am I fell asleep a couple of different times, definitely near the end. I noticed near the beginning I didn't really seem able to hear the secondary oscillations. Also, my right heel felt pain, due to a rather large callous and my feet being pointing right up. I tilted my right knee out to get the pressure off my right heel. During the vocalization part of the exercise, I heard high pitched squeaking in the right ear, even though I turned the noise cancelation off in my headphones (due to them causing a noticeable hiss with noise cancelation on). permalinkgateway data2 CD/track Wave I / Discovery 2: Introduction to Focus 10 body position flat on back with pillow under knees CD player Panasonic SL-CT510 (portable) headphones Sony MDR-NC11A Noise Canceling ambient temperature 20 C clothing socks, red flannel jammie pants, white T-shirt, knit cap working nostril(s) left emotional state relaxed, a bit tired physical tired head fine neck sore stomach fine pain/soreness left middle finger bruised phone/door off/locked time allowed 9.5 hours ambient light nearly dark ambient noise nearly none location room 20 Millenium House date/time 1:33am JST Tuesday 14 December 2004 2:07am My feet felt hot in the beginning; Woke up in the middle; aborted; not in the mood to finish. permalinkprev day next day |
