Entries this day: Dream Gateway_data1 Gateway_data2 Genki_people Work study Dream 9:08am JST Tuesday 14 December 2004 I was in China, inline skating in a park, whee at 9am, other skaters would come and skate somewhere around the city. I had been to Oak Forest Automotive to get my bicycle wheel fixed, which they apparently did, but then when I checked it, I saw that they had carelessly burned a hole in the rim and through some of the spokes with a quick blast of a cutting torch. I noticed this only after I had taken the wheel (it was a spare that I had in my backpack) and gone skating around. Once it came time to ride TJ Bike again (with his two wheels intact), I noticed the third wheel had the cutting torch burn in it. So I knew I had to go back to their shop, but I wasn't sure how I'd be able to prove the accident happened there. I saw a guy on a park bench that was also skating, and I went over to talk to him, but I woke up before we could talk. permalinkGateway data1 10:19am JST Tuesday 14 December 2004 CD/track Wave I / Discovery 2: Introduction to Focus 10 body position flat on back with right leg bent CD player Panasonic SL-CT510 headphones Sony earphones with noise cancelation off ambient temperature 20 C clothing red flannel pants, white T-shirt, knit cap working nostril(s) left more than right emotional state calm physical tight back muscles head fine stomach a tad hungry pain/soreness phone/door off/locked time allowed 1 hour ambient light daylight through curtains ambient noise construction noise outside my window date/time 10:26am JST Tuesday 14 December 2004 location Millenium House, room 20 Remained awake for most of it, but then found that I had fallen asleep when he was saying wake up; I don't really remember the last portion of the exercise. The construction noise outside made me wonder if I would be successful or not. 11:35am Ah - I just remembered this: About 5 or 8 minutes into the exercise, I felt/imagined/dreamt that I was moving my arm. The sensation didn't have any vibrational quality that I've associated with OBE, but a sensation was there. I can possibly write it off as a dream feeling. It was very brief. permalinkGateway data2 1:21pm JST Tuesday 14 December 2004 CD/track Wave I / Discovery 2: Introduction to Focus 10 body position flat on back with right leg bent CD player Panasonic SL-CT510 headphones Sony earphones with noise cancelation off ambient temperature 20 C clothing red flannel pants, black sweatpants, white T-shirt, SWD YRUU hoodie, knit cap working nostril(s) right emotional state calm, wide awake physical tight back muscles head fine stomach happy pain/soreness phone/door off/locked time allowed 38 minutes ambient light daylight through curtains ambient noise construction noise outside my window date/time 1:23pm JST Tuesday 14 December 2004 location Millenium House, room 20 2:00pm Fell asleep during that, but made it longer. Just before he introduced Focus 10, I could have sworn someone knocked on my door. I woke up (I had been sleeping), and said, "yeah," like I am in here; what do you want?, but never heard a response. If someone didn't knock on my door, wow. I had a dream about ultimate frisbee, and tried to catch a disc at one point. That reminded me that I had a big body spasm during my previous Focus 10 thing today. permalinkGenki people 1:10pm JST Tuesday 14 December 2004 Caesar (sp) from Spain and Erik (sp) from Norway have just arrived in Millenium House in the past 24 - 48 hours. They seem to be rooming together. This morning Marta (born in Argentina, but considers herself) from Spain and her boyfriend(?) Hikaru were over to see Caesar and Erik. Marta and Caesar were chattering at light speed in Spanish and English for a while. Caesar was like, "oh, can everyone here understand Spanish?" and switched to English. Erik told us about his 9 hour stay in customs getting boxes of stuff sent over. Sunglasses, hats, keychains.. all kinds of cheapy crap that one could buy (and in this case, sell) at a sporting event. Their high-end genkiness eclipsed even Jen. (but would have matched Carla.) They vanished off to get coffee, after repacking but leaving the boxes in the common room. permalinkWork 9:54am JST Wednesday 15 December 2004 No nightmares at work. Kyoko chose me for two lessons, and said it was really difficult to find my lessons available online. Aw, I'm touched! permalinkstudy 9:56am JST Wednesday 15 December 2004 Hitomi met me at Motosumiyoshi and we rode Mimi Bike to Saizeria and she helped me study for 1.75 hours. Good stuff. permalinkprev day next day |
