Entries this day: Dream Gateway_data More_Dream Work genki_dan zzz Dream 10:22am JST Tuesday 11 January 2005 Driving a car back to my dad's house, except I had very little traction and very bad brakes. There was some pedestrian congestion near 249 just coming into his area and I tried to stop but had to veer right to get out of a skid. I figured out how to handle it but then Dude was in the back set and he was like, "hey, excuse me!" to a cop and I was like, "dude, shut up!" cause I knew the lights on the car weren't working properly, and I didn't want a ticket. The cop didn't hear Dude, which was good, but Dude apparently didn't hear me, so he asked again. I was like, "Dude! stop!" and finally, after Dude got the cop's attention, he paid attention to me so I was like, "we are cool; get rid of him; just ask him to help guide the pedestrians out of our way." Dude did this, and it worked out alright. I was able to drive really slowly on the slick pavement apparently due to the pedestrians, including a faceless tall old hairy guy who I only saw from the back, and who was completely oblivious to my driving behind him. Finally we got past all that, and I drove to the corner and stopped the car completely by putting my hand out and pushing back against the very useful stop sign. I didn't come to a complete stop before the sign, and I think one of the cops noticed as I was turning right and it became a race to get my slippery sliding car with trailer in the back to my dad's house safely before the cop could catch me. I turned left at the next T intersection and then left again on that there road that crosses over and realized we were not going to make it. There was some new construction on the left, so I pulled in to that driveway and parked in a parking space, being sure to keep the car between the white painted lines of the parking space. The trailer was covered with a blue tarp and had two blue strips of blue tarp hanging on either side of the trailer. I was able to stop the vehicle only by going up a slight incline and then backward down into the parking space, whcih meant the strips were arranged in a way that would prove we had rolled backwards into the parkng spce, which would prove we had overshot it, which could prove we had bad brakes, so I went backwards out of the parking space and then forwards back into the parking space to make sure the blue strips would be arranged the right way. I wondered if there were other ways the cops could figure out what happened. I guessed they could look for plastic particles ground onto the parking lot from when I used my shoe to stop and they'd be able towork out my tread marks, etc. But I decided that would cost them more than it would cost me for the ticket, so ultimately, I would win even if they did give me a ticket. I woke up wondering if this was mathematically sound logic. permalinkGateway data 11:22am JST Tuesday 11 January 2005 I'm feeling some sort of hesitance to listening to another gateway CD right now. Am I tired of them? Am I just tired? Am I angsty and wanting to do something else? My brain thinks that my brain is too tired to complete an exercise. Let's see what happens. CD/track Wave III / Freedom 1: Lift Off body position flat on back with legs bent CD player Panasonic SL-CT510 headphones Audio-Technica ATH-T3 ambient temperature 19 C clothing socks, red flannel jammies, Maggie-embroidered-Think-shirt, Hitomi-knit cap working nostril(s) right emotional state calm, tired physical tight back muscles head a teeny bit headachey stomach okay pain/soreness left middle finger doesn't hurt! phone/door off/locked time allowed 2.5 hours ambient light daylight through curtains ambient noise construction noise outside my window date/time 11:30am JST Tuesday 11 January 2005 location Millenium House, room 20 orientation head pointing toward heater (east) 12:01pm JST Tuesday 11 January 2005 Nice. Had a bit of an idea about floating during that experience. I was more on the sleeping side of Focus 10, but still a bit awake. I was in Focus 10 mode really quickly and completely forgot to do the reball and the affirmation until he thought we were in Focus 10 mode. I did those really quickly and my tired dreamy state allowed me to be more open to the idea of floating. I could barely hold on to consciousness as we were floating up and down, and near the end I was definitely less awake than awake, but still holding on enough to remember that part happening, even if not the specifics. At the first floating upward, he was like, "remember what you perceive around you" and I perceived being in janette's kitchen with lots of happy energy and happy people. Nice. permalinkMore Dream 2:04pm JST Tuesday 11 January 2005 The announcer was describing how in one super hot summer, a summer so hot in Montano that garbage spontaneously caught on fire in a garbage truck, a famous movie star went to the dump to recover his collection of left handed tooth brushes from other movie stars. He was digging through a small part of the dump and finding "Mike Meyers, Bob Segal, Patrick Swayze," etc as he picked up toothbrushes. The commissioner was congratulating someone for something, but actually there was corruption in the background, though I didn't know if the commissioner knew it or not. Matt Damon came up riding on a firemans' horse for his first time cause he could and the guy was like, "good work" to him as well. This was in the Astrodome in Houston. Woke up to my 2pm alarm for work; I have to leave in 1 hour. I lost a huge chunk of dream, and I thought I had lost all of it.. permalinkWork 1:59am JST Wednesday 12 January 2005 I enjoyed a double lesson with Junko, a new student who chose my lesson, and happened to end up with the lesson before that.. (I'm not explaining this well, but I'm tired.) She expanded incredibly well after I answered "where are you from?" and that took up the entire first lesson. The second lesson had huge great expansion again and I just wanted to keep on chatting with her, but it was time to go. I found out that she's a cabin attendant for ANA. Coolio. She said I should go to H.I.S. for inexpensive fares. Also enjoyed a double lesson with Kozue who invited me to see Beastie Boys with her on Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I can't go; I have to work. Man I would love to go. Oh man I just realized this; I maybe could have gotten out of work; when I got the invite, I checked my schedule, and had two blue lessons (blue = student chose me), but (!) I know the phone number of the student! I coulda called her and rearranged the lessons and gone to B-boys. Oh well. permalinkgenki dan 2:07am JST Wednesday 12 January 2005 Got a funny email from Dan: A guy I work with said when he feels angry or annoyed he gets on his PC (YUK YUK YUK) and writes it all down, and then feels better, then he deletes it!! I was like 'Dude (and I said 'Dude'), you're a word waster, stop it, save it.' That's not all the email, but I like the "word waster" part. permalinkzzz 2:08am JST Wednesday 12 January 2005 Ate Roboyaki tonight and talked to Hitomi about tomorrow, and she gets big points for calling me to apologize and tell me specifically if I want to hang out tomorrow with Miki for a long time, to not worry about Hitomi. Awesome; I really appreciate that freedom. permalinkprev day next day |
