Entries this day: Auction Gateway_data HAM_radio Keys Work found_keys Auction 10:48am JST Monday 21 February 2005 Man. I pretty much can't read the Japanese on the Yahoo Japan Auction: New Item Submission page. I got through the picture upload part, and the title/desription part, but that's just cause I know computer stuff. I think I figured out the payment information part using worldlingo's free online translator, but some of the translations were wack, and I'm not confident I understand what the translations are all talking about anyway. Below that it gets into escrow services and all kinds of pricing stuff that I just don't want to cut-copy-paste-translate all of it, when some translators will be in my building later tonight. permalinkGateway data 10:59am JST Monday 21 February 2005 CD/track Wave I / Discovery 2: Introduction to Focus 10 body position flat on back with legs bent CD player Panasonic SL-CT510 headphones Audio-Technica ATH-T3 ambient temperature 17 C and rising clothing warm black layer pants, white short sleeve shirt, hitomi knit cap working nostril(s) right emotional state calm physical awake, tight neck muscles head fine stomach hungry bladder empty pain/soreness none phone/door off/locked time allowed plenty ambient light daylight through curtains ambient noise construction noise outside my window date/time 11:08am JST Monday 21 February 2005 location Millenium House, room 20 11:45am JST Monday 21 February 2005 I drifted between Focus 10 and dreaming sleep during that exercise. I dreamt a bit about entering data on a language translation website. I missed the part where he told us how we could become immediately awake. I got the part where he told us how to recall any memory we've ever had. permalinkHAM radio 1:36pm JST Monday 21 February 2005
I first heard about HAM radio from Mr Hamm. I was never interested in it, but I kinda am now. Only in the slightest way, though; I don't want a full blown operator license; I just want to be tracked via APRS while TJ Bike and I tour around the country. Did some research and it seems that I can get a call sign without taking a test; just gotta buy the right equipment and sign some kinda form that they'll process.
Nice margins. permalinkKeys 3:30pm JST Monday 21 February 2005 Somehow I've misplaced my keys effectively enough that I believe I don't have them with me on my way to work. I was going to take TJ Bike, but if I can't lock him up, then he ain't going. I walked to the station and used my GPS to determine my high-normal walking speed is right around 4 miles per hour. permalinkWork 12:03am JST Tuesday 22 February 2005 Work was fun. Had two lovely lessons with Makiko, who is even more beautiful now that she is pregnant. I agree with Jay who described her as stunning. She has one last lesson at Gaba. And she's chosen to have it with me tomorrow. I'm so honored. :-) - - - - Kimiko, who I rarely see, chose me for her Level Up Test. She failed it. 53%. Afterward, the teachers in the breakroom were like, "you failed her on the test?" as if it couldn't be done. We're always supposed to be uplifting and encouraging. I was like, "she failed the test. I'm not going to lie to her and tell her she is learning English without studying." That would be a disservice to her. - - - - Had a guy named Yu. I resisted every and all puns that came to my mind. "I'm Rob." "I'm Yu." "(No, I'm me.) Nice to meet you, Yu." "Nice to meet you, too." "Nice to meet you, too, Yu." - "Okay, Yu, I thank Yu for a great lesson." "Thank you, too." "I just did." "See you later." "You'll see Yu sooner than I see Yu." etc. permalinkfound keys 12:21am JST Tuesday 22 February 2005 I was certain my keys must be in my room. I took my bed apart piece by piece but didn't find them. Dug through all the crap on the floor, but didn't find them. Found them in my underwear drawer, into which they had fallen from the top of my bureau thing. permalinkprev day next day |
