Went to the zoo in Hinodecho with Hitomi this morning. It was nicer than I expected (but I had really low expectations). Some of the animals had grass. I most enjoyed watching the ostrich. After watching it walk gracefully back and forth, with its mean sneery face peering over its fence, Hitomi goes, "首ながい、ね。"

I go, "ほんとだ。"

So hilarious!!

Ugh; I'm falling asleep. I have an idea for how to make my journal more useful for P-B type stuff, but I'm too tired to dig through the code right now. I know it will be a pretty easy change, but not easy enough for my tired brain.

Sleepynap now but Hitomi is coming over soon.

tsunashima antics

Hitomi and I met Dan, Kei and Jen at Tsurumi river in Tsunashima for old times hang out sake. Dan and I played HCJ (Hackey Can Jack) which turned into a game of kick the can soccer and then back to hackey can jack and then finished when I kicked the can over the fence.

Great fun talking and hanging out with Dan, whose hat had a bit of an unraveling issue.

zzzz journal tweak

I'm doing some research of the different ports before we sail. I want to know some things about where we're traveling. So I tweaked my journal to default to the most recent entry not past today. As of now, I have three such entries online: Port Said, Le Havre, Punta Arenas.
