I was on a subway and the train could turn ridiculously tight curves anpd it was like going down a spiral staircase, and specifically the electric wire powering the train was dangerously twisting and dangerously close to my head, it seemed as the train was spiraling down.

This is the 60 year anniversary of the Hiroshima bomb. Only three of seven Happy Wonderful Girls came to class today. One is overland, so she has a good excuse. We went to the top deck and practiced yelling to converse. I spread us out along the side of the rail and was like, "what are you doing?" "I am looking the ocean!" I didn't correct their grammar; I just want them to fucking speak up! Rie said her throat was sore, which I'm half inclined to believe.

I got a bunch of packages on my bed. I was like, "holy shit" cause there was so much. Only one of them was for me. They were all for someone who is apparently having a baby soon because they sent baby diapers and socks and stuff. I sorted through it all to get my stuff and noted some of the items were socks for the Sock Puppet Making workshop I'll be doing.

That reminds me of something funny.

Jason the sock

We're doing Peace Fair tomorrow, and my booth is making sock puppets. Several teams are doing different things, and Peace Fair is one of them. When it was time for the GET Teachers to present Peace Fair, I borrowed Brandt's sock and put it on my hand (after letting it air dry a bit). He and Nicole held the Sock Puppet sign I had made when it was time for individuals to describe their specific booths.

Without even *trying* to disguise that it was me, I ducked down behind the sign and put the sock up. I said in a slightly weird voice (kinda bummed out but high pitch voice):

"Hello.  My name is Jason.

And I am a sock.

But I am very sad, because

I don't have a face.

So I hope you will come

to help me and my friends

be happy and have faces.

Thank you."

And then I stood back up again and looked around like, "hey guys; how's it going?" and handed the microphone to the next person.

We saw dolphins a while ago. Some of them were doing flips and spins. It was cool to see them playing for us.

I was unable to get a video of them, but I tried.
