Entries this day: Dream Today myth_busters Dream 11:05am JST Thursday 08 September 2005 On P.B., we were sailing while aware a star was going to go nova soon. when the explosion happened, some animals were able to talk. I climbed down the outside of the boat from the top deck down into one of the lower decks. For some reason I did not get into trouble. There was an explosion imminent, and we were all on the ground with our faces down preparing to withstand the blast. I was flat scared and not sure what it would be like. When it happened, I could feel the heat and tell hair was burning around my face. I realized I hadn't taken one last inhalation before the blast actually got to me so I was wondering if I would be better off breathing in slowly, or if I could select a time where the flames wouldn't be so bad and inhale quickly or if I could hold my breath until it was all over. I woke up when I needed to breathe for real. (I was holding my breath while asleep) permalinkToday 8:22pm JST Thursday 08 September 2005 Today I have been working pretty well on transcribing / adapting journal entries from P.B.. I've finished tapes 4 and 5, and 1/2 of tape 6. It's challenging for me to put together the stories and entries the way I'd like: everything all neatly lined up in date order, etc.. plus balancing between verbatim transcription and just writing as the tapes remind me. The beginning of Side B Tape 6 is Emi translating that the Jordanian refugee camp tour will not be a cake walk, and may not occur. I'm definitely not going to transcribe it, but I will listen to it as I walk to the grocery store to get some foodage. permalinkmyth busters 10:15pm JST Thursday 08 September 2005 I absolutely love Myth Busters. Myth Busters rules. I'm watching the episode where they shot the dummy out of a 3 foot diameter tube with 10 pounds of gunpowder. Now they are trying to clean a Corvette that had two pig carcasses rotting in it for two months. permalinkprev day next day |
