I'm totally freaking out with giddy joy! Two of my best friends who I told about P/B are going to be on the same voyage! Fucking incredible!!

I opened my computer to put two last tweaks on my daysold counter and found an email from Matt, the GET-Teacher-coordinator for the 52nd voyage. He was like, "this is the first introductory email" and "welcome to the team" and "let me introduce everyone." First - the repeating teachers _____, ______ (*), Rob, and Petra from the 49th.

And I was like, "WHAT????" cause I had *just* chatted with Petra last night and she didn't make a peep! I didn't even know she was applying to be on the voyage! Wow wow wow wow!!

Then a bit further down the page, Carla shows up and I totally lose it with giddy joy!! I *love* Carla! In the most platonic way I have ever loved anyone, Carla is way (**) up there. She's just completely incredible!

I already knew Kellie was applying and got accepted, so I have recovered from that shock of learning that we will get to rock around the world together...

I'm really super duper uber pumped!!!!

Haha - in the back of my brain I was thinking about continuing work on my "who" page - a little description of all the important people in my life. Because I move around so much, I have never realistically attempted it.

I was thinking about how to uniquely identify people without giving away their last names, but in a way that I would remember. About Carla, I thought, I could name the file carlton because that name certainly won't be as common as another Carla.

There's a dude name Carleton on the voyage (though he goes by Carl).

Rochelle and Serena came back after picking olives today, and they said they got to climb the trees!! Not only "get" to climb; they *had* to climb to get all the olives. Wow!!!

That doubles my intention to go. I love climbing trees! I can just imagine myself barefootedly among the branches. Crazy awesomely fun!

Serena walked by (behind me) while I was sitting at the table and I reached back and kinda grabbed her legs. She was like, "wha?" and I looked more carefully; it wasn't Serena!!!! Oops!

A woman I hadn't previously met.. her name is Monica.

Jason was like, "that's a pretty good way to meet someone; 'oh I thought you were someone else!'"

I'm 13000 days old now!!!

Stayed up chatting about philosophical intangible spiritual inexplicable stuff with Serena and Rochelle. They have had some pretty cool experiences, some of which were induced via long periods of meditation.

Hitomi sent me an email song for my 13000th day! So sweet!

I made sure Rochelle and I were clear; after my silly statement last night, which I retracted, everything is all good.

Monica, from Italy, whose legs I grabbed cause I thought they were Serena's, is talking to some lads (I never say lads!) in the other room. I've fully enjoyed the sight of her long dark hair and height and nice smile. I can feel myself wanting to make a connection, but am choosing not to go "hang out" in there with them.

I will, however, being a fellow human on this fragile space ship, say goodnight.
