Entries this day: AM_epiphany Lunch Today AM epiphany 7:51am BRST Saturday 11 February 2006 6:52am ART Saturday 11 February 2006 As of last night at midnight, we switched to a new timezone. I just had an epiphany. I've already known for a while that I seem to be attracted to women who show some interest in me. I just realized that I can show interest in women who don't appear to show interest in me first. This amazing leap of logic came when I was wondering about ways to prepare for my Rapa Nui port orientation. I plan to interview someone who knows more then me about the port and what will be happening. I thought I could ask Chika, the CIQ woman, and some wires crossed in my mind: she's attractive, she seems professional and stable, she hasn't shown any interest in me, she could possibly be single,... wait a minute! epiphany! permalinkLunch 1:49pm ART Saturday 11 February 2006 I drew a third title image for the daily paper. There's a part of me that wants to put them in here for posterity; I might. Went looking for Kellie, Laura, Maruan at 11am for our meeting but couldn't find them until I found Kellie and Laura in Kellie's room watching Mr and Mrs Smith on Kellie's computer. It's a pretty funny movie, so I watched it with them. I've got some other junk I need to be working on, but I haven't really taken time to categorize, prioritize, summarize and finalize a list. But, pretty soon I've got to go to Yacht Club to meet Kiichi for our Staff GET lesson. I've told him I can only meet him for 30 minutes; he never has anything to do/say/work on, so the lessons are pretty pointless and boring, I reckon. permalinkToday 1:58am ART Sunday 12 February 2006 Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm Just watched the latter 3/4ths of Shawshank Redemption, from the point that he plays the music over the entire prison intercom system. Today wasn't exactly productive, but I chatted with Carla a few times, and noticed that I've been desiring a couple-relationship with a woman to act as a stable rock in my life, but I could use (any of) the GET Ts as a friendship relationship stable rock in my life. hmmm. I'm jealous of Maruan + Kyoko and Stacy + Yuki. Today was the day some people said we were "in a river," which is true, if, by "river," they mean a body of water 150 miles wide. After much debate, I've accepted that we are in an estuary, but *not* a river. The ship isn't going all that quickly, but occassionally is like grruuguguggguguggggg, shaking as if it's going quickly, or getting some sort of turbulence (from the bottom) or something. Today was the day my newspaper title image wasn't accepted on first submission (it was my fourth one, and I spent quite little time on it, relatively speaking: just outlined words written 4 times in highlighter. I took it back and drew dots all over it, outside the highlighter lettering. Also felt rather frisky today, and therefore enjoyed the attention from ¤Ò¤á and sorta hugged on Laura and Karen and Carla. Tonight was the night I chatted with tall beautiful Sabrina in reception before going to Sunshine Bar to hang out with peeps up there. Also, several big ships sailed right by us in a surprisingly close manner... Carla and I were under the Sunshine Bar awning for a few ships' passing, but then went to the rail and watched lights, talked about stuff, and waved at three guys on a tanker that sailed right by, as the others had. permalinkprev day next day |
