AM breakfast

9:27am JST Wednesday 24 May 2006 (day 13209)

Mmmmm. I haven't had any variants of Roboyaki in a while. This one is pretty basic: 2 eggs, an egg worth of cheese, and about 5 little cut up sausages (not very spicy).

ん、おいしい!

AM iPod nano

9:30am JST Wednesday 24 May 2006 (day 13209)

Nice. This is my first experience with an iPod nano and my own music. I had listened to Will Smith's "Switch" in the Shibuya Apple Store when the nano was first released.

Now I've borrowed Kazzah's borrowed nano and have my own tunes, mostly NIN and Eminem and How to Win Friends and Influence People on tape. er, nano.

Funny ultimate email from Meek

12:39pm JST Wednesday 24 May 2006 (day 13209)

Hahaha; Meek is so hilarious!!

From: Rod Meek
  To: SNS Ultimate
Subj: SNS Memorial Game for May

Well, this is a bit of a long shot, since presumably up to 60% of you
have something better to do (note to Jerry: an EQ raid on the Infinite
Plane of the Howling Dogmen does not count) on a Memorial Day weekend
than to squander precious beer-drinking time on Ultimate. Also I am
confident that many of you will also be supporting the troops in some
fashion. Of course, none of this applies to me because I hate beer AND
America. So I will be ready to play. And by "play", I mean "stand
about talking feeble smack as assorted geriatrics wheeze past me".

Committed to a game this coming Saturday are:

1) Me
2) Chadwick
3) Steve
4) 0% of Andy

Please respond if you can make it. And agitate amongst your friends,
vassals, and allies and see if some them can be tricked into
attending.

Leaving work

10:52pm JST Wednesday 24 May 2006 (day 13209)

Today I got emAlbum "working" on my site, in that it can display images in its own little test album setup, BUT, according to the author, it won't handle sub-sub directories.. I've got sub-sub-sub-sub-sub directories in some case (haha like it's a bigdick contest, right?)

Last night I finished moving all the files out of /images/journal, a notable task. Today worked on getting more images from my computer moved online. I lost a lot of time by not backing up marble_track images before running iPhoto_2_legible on them, and it fucked up the names because I hadn't re-written the regex that wipes bad characters. I've got it removing ? ( ) / ' etc, but then I keep coming up with filenames with more fucked up characters : \ etc, so I need it to only allow :alphanum: and be done with it. Just wipe everything else out.

Gotta add that to the list for tomorrow. brb
