Entries this day: Airplane_Day EV_notes Earthquake Shinpei Airplane Day 11:25am JST Thursday 31 August 2006 I'm creating a portion of my site dedicated to archiving research done by other people on Airplane Day. I've just uploaded a really big video (actually it's not finished uploading yet). From Alex Jones' infowars.org, a video called Terror Storm (2006). It's available free on google video, so I guess he won't mind me hosting it here as well. Lemme know if you want a copy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsPSI-tcoaI permalinkEV notes 3:36pm JST Thursday 31 August 2006 Cultural differences? If I had $1000, I would eat dinner in a hotel. If I could invite anyone to dinner, I would cook many dishes. I was like, "your grammar is perfect...." permalinkEarthquake 12:43am JST Friday 1 September 2006 Pretty nice earthquake today. I noticed it and exclaimed "earthquake!" before the big shake shook. Haven't read any news about it yet. 4.8 on richter scale, 43 miles below the ocean somewhere. permalinkShinpei 12:14am JST Friday 1 September 2006 Met a cool student named Shinpei today who is like the perfect match for me. He was like, "don't tell me good job unless I'm really doing well." (or at least that's basically what he meant.) He locks on to adjustments I give just as well as little Riho the 14 year old, even though he's 30, totally blowing away the curve of younger students better able to retain language. We can have a real conversation, and even though I interrupt him with corrections, often restructuring his entire sentence, we get right back on the topic and it's great. He's just started a new job with a clothing store of some sort. In 3 months his bosses expect him to be in charge of opening markets overseas. permalink |
