Came upon a technique I can use for the flash game: just hardcoding the cartoon will work, but it's not particularly maintainable. Tariq said it was good enough just to show the point; this won't be the basis of the final product.

Kinda bummed that my camera is fucked (my old one died a month ago and the one Hitomi gave me has gotten progressively worse so that it won't focus at all now.)

Anyway, I haven't yet installed the big slalom piece, but it, as a unit, is built, and it has one foot (so far) that will be used as a leg to support it.

Went back to work after i-group and worked on the marble track's slalom. Its one leg was well dried; I added one more little spacer, shaved a few mms from a different part so it would fit well ad glued the sucker down. It is glued at three points so far, and I plan to add a toothpick or two(?) tomorrow to lock it into place. Should be cool.

Oh, the slalom is on, but its edges are not built yet so the ball just rolls off it sideways. There are three slopes. The top two just roll right off and the bottom one doesn't link to the ramp below it. These things will happen this week or so.

Work

Work was pretty easy today. Five students total, including Tatsuya, the cat who built a video distribution website and recently sold it for several dollars. Will mention him to Tariq as a possible resource for our flash project.

Wow. I left my schedule from Friday on the wall all weekend. I'm surprised no one gave it to the receptionist.

I'm off work early today so I can attend my I-group meeting, for the first time in a while.

And then tonight will be talking to Kim.

How can I develop and trust my warrior to protect and champion everything I value, starting with myself?

If I wanna step into my king, don't try to become a king.  Instead develop the last piece necessary
to be ready for kingship, which is my warrior.

When all the pieces are together, the kingship happens.

HOMEWORK:

     Write to invite PB peeps to we're still in Tokyo party.

     Handle the situation with Stephen who is coming to visit for two weeks.

     Watch for and accept, through fear, opportunities to lead.
     Be aware of places that my warrior doesn't show up.

     Three questions I should ask all the time:
     
     (1) Who am I? ( in relationship to god today?  What is my role in each part of my life?  What is my
     power? (it starts where the part of me connects to God))
     
     The way I detatch from other people and things: attach to that part of myself that is connected to god.
     
     Work to grow my taproot into the deepest soil of my center, connected to god.
     
     When I do this, I don't need to "worry about what other people think of me."
     
     (2) Where am I going?
     
     (the three plans of 2-3 years out)
     
     (3) Who/what is going with me?   [we'll talk about this next time]
