Dreams

After Kim was talking to me about taking opportunities to lead, I had several dreams in that department, including

I was offered a chance to become Mormon, and lead people to join the faith. I was horrified that I'd *have* to do it because it looked like a perfect chance to become a leader.

I had no sense that I was dreaming: in fact, quite the opposite. It was really nerve wracking.

Homework

Argh. I haven't done any homework for Japanese... though, well, that's not actually true. I listened to the CD on repeat, have nearly gained some new vocabulary (wrote about 70 words; can't remember the meaning x/or the pronunciation of any), and simply forgot to recharge my batteries last night. D'oh!

Hoping to go to Tokyo Hands to get a voltage transformer for Petra, but got sidetracked watching Mythbusters that Michael had on this morning. Argh.

BUT

I did buy contact juice which I'm sure to need tonight, given that I didn't think I'd even have enough last night (barely did; I guess 2 CCs seems like a lot less when inside a 500 CC bottle than in the contact case)

Work

At work, if I recall correctly, I have a single 40 minute break in the "morning" and then no breaks until 10pm

No no-shows. No cancellations.

Mr Yosh was cool with reading while I worked on the marble track though. Nice.

I got the bottom of the slalom integrated with the next lower track, and the top turn of the slalom integrated with the middle slope. Tomorrow, perhaps, will see the final slalom turn built.

Oh! And the axis for the large marble switch has been extended to two toothpicks, and the slalom has a a toothpick with its end bent to make a snugly spot within which the axis can rotate while being stabilized on top.

Been working on flash game for Tariq; got to a stopping point of sorts in that I was able to request, accept, sorta error check, process, and respond to user input.
