"So, in other words, we'll be there! It's not like we're all going to be べ つべつで spread out across Tokyo doing handstands."

I saw the directions for one of the events, which was supposed to mimic the results of a previous tradition: that of crashing one's head into straw mats. but in this case they were using metal plates, and expecting people to bend them with their heads. Jeez how crazy is that?

That was great fun! Well, not fun so much as profitable. We got 30,000 yen and travel expenses paid. Actually I had to fund 500 yen each way from Shibuya to Haneda airport, but, ま, no worries.

BUT, the very best part was getting paid to give a fecal sample! 3000 yen for a bit of poo. Awesome.

Soon enough we'll be rockin' outta here for our respective domiciles.

Leaving

Headed back to the Kagoshima airport now. The land is hilly with penty of trees and vegetation, with occasional mining scars where tractors have removed sections of land for use elsewhere.

In the back left seat of the bus, and Raffi asleep in the back right seat of the bus. About 20 passengers on this 45 seat bus.

Chillin' in the Kagoshimas airport with several of the trial participants. We just saw a Pokemon plane take off and were watching the two round crew who walked the plane back as they waved and bowed to the plane as it powered away.

We're scheduled for the 12:20 flight, and our plane's windshield was just cleaned. Not the side windshield's thought, but Raffi pointed out "planes don't have to change lanes in the air." True enough.

Flying now; Raffi is in the seat behind me with headphones blaring some dance beats. I just successfully solved the sodoku game that had vexed me on the way here. I guess I got better with practice. There's a small part of me that wants to write a game, but I almost certainly won't.

back in Tokyo

Well, actually, back in Haneda, but in the big sense, I'm back in Tokyo. Will be in Shibuya soon to say HI to EV and Marble Track 2, too.

zzz no coaching

HI

I don't know what is the problem this time, but I hope you, your family, home, neighbors, and belongings are all safe.

I am tired of wasting time waiting for connection each time we try to connect.  It seems that
overall, I'm less energized and less enthusiastic around coaching sessions with you.  I spend a lot
of time listening to your problems and I'm not willing to do that anymore.  At least not tonight.

I appreciate the overall lesson that I need to accept leadership opportunities as they come.

Right now I'm taking the opportunity to lead myself to bed; I have to be up and alert in the morning.
