Entries this day: Dream Kagoshima_CPC Nanaca_Crash!! marble_track_switch Dream 9:28am JST Wednesday 24 January 2007 (day 13454) At a university where a wide-open field just had the concrete poured for two new science buildings. I walked out onto the site and found the sarcophagus of Aldus Huxley which was labeled HUXLEY, and I was like, "Aldus Huxley!" but it turned out it was his dad's, Clarence Huxley. My professor came up and was like, " ya know, after the rebuilding, the back room of the science wing is in a complete disarray," and since I had helped organize it last time, he was wondering if I would be interested in helping this time. I was like, "yeah!" and we started looking through stuff, and he was writing down the items that he found, and I realized I wasn't doing anything, and he was actually just making up the names as he went, so I started to do the writing as he did the searching. He wanted his notebook and pen back, so I gave them those and began a new sheet. I miswrote something, and wondered if I should start a new sheet (and waste a piece of paper), but I decided to just go with the flow, and wrote along the top, "WELCOME TO GLOBAL ADVENTURES HOSTED BY CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES: PEACE BOA" and I didn't get the whole thing finished before he was like, "you know, those kids shouldn't be watching TV over there, and he was debating whether he should go kick them out, because it was actually their father's rule about the TV, and it wasn't just for them, but for anyone, because the TV was near his bedroom, and it was late at night, so he was perhaps sleeping, or perhaps they had gotten special permission. permalinkKagoshima CPC 11:10am JST Wednesday 24 January 2007 (day 13454) Just got a call from Hideo at CPC; basically I've been accepted for the trial to chill out in Kagoshima for the drug test thing in February. Whew! Now still have to decide if I'll come back here: not see Kagoshima, not make extra 10,000 per day, get frequent flyer miles, perhaps a chance to meet with Tariq. OR, stay in Kagoshima for 4 more days: chance to see Kagoshima, get 10,000 yen those days, no frequent flyer miles, no chance to meet Tariq. permalinkNanaca Crash!! 10:14am JST Wednesday 24 January 2007 (day 13454) Fred wrote Subject: http://www.geocities.jp/lledoece/nanacatest.html From: Fred Nugen 619.7m. very strange game. only played it the once, and knew i had to share. i have to send some emails right now, though. talk amongst yourselves. Dude replied: 989m. ![]() I forwarded the game to Matt last night, and then played it again this morning. that is *bizarre* I can't decide if it's violent or just Japanese or what. *Finally* I figured out that clicking on the black box labeled 'special' often helps boost my score. ![]() Also sent it to Kris this morning. permalinkmarble track switch 9:44am JST Thursday 25 January 2007 (day 13455) I'm glad to say the marble track switch works pretty darn consistently on the top toggle part, and one of the directions below, but the other direction is problematic. I need to adjust some angles, but they are pretty well blockaded by the surrounding track. Even so, I added a flag to the switch last night, declaring it finished on 23 JAN 2007. But after writing this, I'm thinking I may change that after making corrections to the stuff at the bottom. permalinkprev day next day |
