Entries this day: Gah Mari_and_Chika Satoko naori shimpei Gah 9:21am JST Saturday 3 March 2007 (day 13492) Gah. I forgot to upload my journal entries last night; basically just wathed episodes of Mythbusters with Michael, even though I had a list of things to do, though one of them are Due Today or any some such. Up too late for my own sleeping good, so haven't yet eaten this morning as I reset my alarm for a more reasonable hour after the first one jjolted me awake. Now, an interesting point is my consciousness came nearly to level 1 awakefulness.. to the point that I was thinking, ya know, if I wake up now, I won't have a jolting shock after I fall asleezzzzzz and promplty ignored my own advice and subsequently was jolted awake and was later than usual getting up. ANYWAY As I was rushing for the station a girl walking sideway and looking backwards was headed right for my flight path, and kept remaining in my way though I made adjustments (or maybe I just kept thinking she wouuld wake up and face forward. and I .. I didn't have a ton of wiggle room as there were a ton of other people all around. I bumped into her shoulder as I was like, "what the fuck are you doing?" Not a very nice way to treat a felllow human being, even if they are walking backwards in my way. Or was I walking forwards in her way? Hmmm. I'm getting closer to remembering Kim's advice for handling anger *before* I bark at someone. permalinkMari and Chika 4:02pm JST Saturday 3 March 2007 (day 13492) Mari and Chika are definitely getting better! I'm proud of their work and glad to teach them. permalinkSatoko 5:43pm JST Saturday 3 March 2007 (day 13492) Satoko was over a minute late for her lesson, so I went ahead and (told Michiko, then) ran to the conveni to get some food for I hadn't eaten properly today. She hadn't arrived by the time I got back, so I was happily chowing in my room when she came in. She was totally cool and didn't mind me chowing during the lesson. Also cool, or maybe even moreso: she's trained in Oracle, and proficient in SQL, so next lesson I may ask her about MySQL tables and queries I'd like to make for the days old website I'm planning to launch. I'd optimally like to outsource the user-login and password-recovery software to an existing Perl library or the like. permalinknaori 6:46pm JST Saturday 3 March 2007 (day 13492) Got to chat with Naori on the way home, as our train line was stuck for a bit so I caught up with her after she left EV 20 minutes early. Nice surprise, that. She taught me 慣性(かんせい)which means momentum, after I told her I had learned (and forgotten) 重力(じゅうりょく)which means gravity. I bumped into her, あっ慣性しちゃった。and she laughed. permalinkshimpei 6:59pm JST Saturday 3 March 2007 (day 13492) Because my train was late, I called Shimpei to tell him I'd possibly be late; I thought he said basically it was okay and he'd wait, but when I got to Shibuya and called him, he was already on the train headed home. I'm glad I called him before I walked 5 minutes to the restaurant to find out he wasn't there nor even coming. permalinkprev day next day |
