Entries this day: Dream Gateway_data Government_action_required ami_and_ultimate_peeps Dream 11:25am JST Friday 4 May 2007 (day 13554) 19:15 on my phone clock. "Ah, crap! I'm late meeting Ami!" and I called her and she was like, "I'm sorry I'm not there yet," Oh, good; she is late, too. We finally met up and were leaving the store and as I was talking to her, I saw Phil and Nikky (sp) at the front of the line, silently watching me speaking Japanese/English hybrid with Ami. I waved to them as we left, and then saw Phil outside, pretending not to be there. I was like, "wazzzaaapp!!" to him in an I C U kinda way. He laughed and we said HI and Bye briefly. permalinkGateway data 12:27pm JST Friday 4 May 2007 (day 13554) CD/track Wave IV / Adventure 2: Five Messages body position on back with knees bent CD player Panasonic SL-CT510 headphones Audio-Technica ATH-T3 ambient temperature 23 C clothing shorts, T-shirt, sleeping bag working nostril(s) left emotional state fear, sadness (just a tiny bit) physical fine head fine stomach hungry pain/soreness neck phone/door off/closed time allowed all day ambient light daylight through curtains ambient noise highway 246 through double pane window date/time 12:45pm JST Friday 4 May 2007 (day 13554) location Sakurashinmachi apartment 1:21pm JST Friday 4 May 2007 (day 13554) zonked out near the end of that, I'm pretty sure, though the messages I got were images, dreams. The images I will summarize as, "do more exercise" "do more meditation" and "keep doing this type of work." permalinkGovernment action required Dear friend, The world's leading authority on climate change has announced that we have the ability to prevent a climate catastrophe -- but only if our leaders act NOW. The G8 is 5 weeks away. Click to tell your leader to take immediate climate action! Take Action Now This Friday, the official body of the world's top climate scientists will release a historic report. Their findings: humankind has the power to stop climate catastrophe. But to do it, politicians need to act--and fast. The science is now crystal clear that it's not enough for individuals and corporations to go green. Government action is required. Our political leaders will be responding to this report over the next few days. But politicians have shown time and again that they won't listen to science unless their bosses--we, the people--tell them to. Click below to send a personalized message directly to your national leader: http://www.avaaz.org/en/climate_action_leaders Last month, we aimed for 150,000 signatures on our climate action petition -- and we did it! Now we have just five weeks until the G8 summit, our best chance this year to get the world's most polluting governments to change course. We need a massive outcry from millions of people around the world to make sure this Friday's report leads to genuine commitments at the summit. It will take a movement like no other in history to force the 188 governments to shift the world off fossil fuels. And we have just a few weeks to build it. But the power of the internet puts this movement within reach. You have the power to reach anyone on earth--so, please, forward this email to everyone you know, post it on your blog, tell your friends and your family. And get started by sending your own message to your leaders: http://www.avaaz.org/en/climate_action_leaders Years from now, once we've won this fight, our victory will seem like it was inevitable. But at this moment, it is your work--joining with others around the world to turn scientific facts into political action--that makes it possible. Plan is 散歩, dinner, カラオケ, and then be home by last train. Not taking my computer. 10:46am JST Saturday 5 May 2007 (day 13555) Nice time. Just got back. Starbucks with Ami lasted nearly 1 hour. Dinner with Ami, Kumi, Tamau, Koki, Peta was 2.5 hours. Karaoke was 5 hours. Sang several songs during the first 4 hours. About 15 people there at max. Bye to peeps; walked with Ami around my old hood after Jonathon's. (My building of) Millenium House is locked. Down Bremen Dori to the new improved Motosumiyoshi station where we watched trains for a bit and I pointed out the slight change in the switch that puts the train on one track or another (local vs express). Walked to Kosugi and dropped her off at Nanbu Line after a brief stop under Meguro Line to show how the bridge sags a little bit when the trains go by. She plans to come to ultimate tomorrow. Fell asleep standing up on the way to Shibuya. Got a seat a Nakameguro and slept to Shibuya. Slept on my line to Sakurashinmachi. Nearly didn't wake up. Happened to see Michael as we crossed 246 in opposite directions. "I haven't slept yet!" Strictly speaking it's not true, but, pretty close. permalinkprev day next day |
