Entries this day: AM_meditation Lunch_with_Ami Work AM meditation 8:26am JST Wednesday 23 May 2007 (day 13573) I meditated this morning for 20 minutes. I seem to hit a point of angst at around 20 minutes, though I tried to breathe through it and maintain awareness. Keeping my mind alert as dream voices come brings a great deal of consternation. I still can't quite articulate the experience I seem to repeatedly have after a certain amount of conscious breathing. Since I've started doing this, sometimes I wonder if the "dream voices" are more than just dreams. permalinkLunch with Ami 11:28am JST Wednesday 23 May 2007 (day 13573) Headed to Roppongi now to meet Ami for lunch. 1:19pm JST Went to Roti something, and was less than impressed with the service considering the apparent quality of the restaurant. I got a single ice cube after asking for no ice, and I got a little splatt worth of dressing after asking for no dressing. And I got grilled chicken with avacado on the side after I asked for a chicken sandwich with avacado. But, was more than pleased to chat with Ami, though the language barrier may prove more than I can bear for very long. Either gotta learn some Japanese or vice versa or quit or get over it. But I believe there is still a communication connection that isn't verbal. Maybe it's just lust. permalinkWork 8:32pm JST Wednesday 23 May 2007 (day 13573) Work has been pretty good today. I started at 5pm, before which I worked on Marble Track 2, which is close to being finished. Still a bit of a question mark on how to finish out the big marble tracks, but the small marble tracks are designed in my brain, though they will be a bit of a pain to make (using only toothpicks), but they should look pretty cool. My current student called and cancelled, and earlier I got a no show. I hadn't had any cancellations nor no shows in quite a while. Next student is Ami; I was tempted to call her to have her cancel, but I thought it would be better to work on my marble track than to run around Shibuya with her. permalinkprev day next day |
