Been reading reading reading reading about different Content Management Services. Mostly looking at Joomla, and Drupal. Had Plone on the list, but it got struck recently. Theoretically I would like to use the most powerful system (Plone), but the example websites I saw (linked from an article comparing the three) the Plone sites were the worst. Now, to be fair, I should visit Plone's site to see what sites *they* feature as Powered by Plone.

Okay, so I did that, and I notice very few of the Web 2.0 interface things that I want to use. Not going to use Plone.

Ami came over again today, too sick to go to work, but not to sick to help me get sick, not that I think I will actually get sick.

Because it's Wednesday, I don't work until 5pm. But because I just got a call from Mai at work saying my first student cancelled, I don't have to work until 6:20pm. Nice.

Work was pretty cool; I promoted PB to one student; I saw babyface Mariko again. I had a picture of her with Francois, but she asked me not to post it. Perhaps later.

4th of July in Japan isn't the same without you.  I hope you enjoy the day in NJ.

I imagine you'll be glad to know NOVA got slapped with a class action lawsuit for not letting
students get a refund within a "buyer's remorse" window.  NOVA is not allowed to sign up any
long-term students for the next 3 months or so.  I saw apology-ads from NOVA on the trains.  All
black with white lettering.  No nonsense, "we're sorry for being dicks, but rest assured we'll be
back to our old ways before you can finish reading this apology.."

I'm considering shifting my life so that I'm making money being a counselor...  how/when/where did
you do your training?
