Entries this day: 10mph.com Productive_at_work Takin'_care_of_biznass remix.nin.com 10mph.com 5:43am JST Wednesday 16 January 2008 (day 13811) 10 MPH is an inspiring video of these two dudes who quit their corporate jobs and documented their trek across the US on a Segway. You can see 10 MPH on

I can confirm I haven't gotten any spam from ourstage as a result of signing up. Why am I suggesting this call to action when there are bigger calls to be done? Because supporting people who quit their corporate jobs will systematically take down the corporate machine, and the corporate machine is the reason for all this war nonsense anyway. permalinkProductive at work 8:28pm JST Wednesday 16 January 2008 (day 13811) Got a lotta shit done at work today, almost all work related, so that's a bonus for Da Man. I've nearly got this friends program thing finished... Well, the skeleton at least. Just gotta write Japanese instead of English and do a bit more cosmetic stuff, and it will be done. Oh wait, except for the admin paying users for inviting people, but that shouldn't be too hard. Oh, and the payment history; that should be almost equally easy. BUT today when I showed أوأ«¤µ¤َ, he was like, "awesome, uh, can you add one detail though?" and I'm like, "d'oh!" cause it will be messing with a big smelly mySQL query with subqueries in it. I've been writing queries with just a bunch of LEFT JOINs cause I like them, and I'd like to think they are faster. Okay, the very bottom of this high level info on complex queries says though joins are easier to understand, there are advantages to subqueries, but doesn't specify what. Interesting. Here are almost opposite responses to the question of Joins vs Subqueries. Hmmm. permalinkTakin' care of biznass 9:32pm JST Wednesday 16 January 2008 (day 13811) Sweet. I just showed Koichi (president of the company that owns my company) the business idea that Brandt is working on and he (Koichi) seemed pretty interested in finding out more. I wonder where this will lead. permalinkremix.nin.com 8:55pm JST Wednesday 16 January 2008 (day 13811) I'm really enjoying remix.nin.com. I think I'll try my hand at shredding some beats. Just not right now. My favorite song today was The Twilight The World Went Down. I flubbed up my comment on the song though; pretty funny: Dude that was hella dopepermalink prev day next day |
