Entries this day: AM_Dream1 AM_Dream2 Catheter Francois AM Dream1 7:10am JST Thursday 31 January 2008 (day 13826) This dream was probably 2 hours ago: In a tour bus, driving precariously close and quite fast along a beautiful canyon, deeper than Niagra Falls, but more beautiful than the Painted Desert; the ice cold water was pouring through the canyon torrentially and beautiful rock structures whisked in and out of view as the bus careened around corners. I felt scared that we would got flying over the edge, but I realized th bus diver had a license and as a profesional would keep us safely on the road, until we tipped off the road. The bus toppled slowly sideways to the left, and we slowly plummetted toward the chilly water below, but sorta coasted along the water. I got out of the bus somehow and went climbing quickly using trees growing up through the snow to climb out of the canyon. I went to tell somebody about the incident or something, and something about UFOs after that. permalinkAM Dream2 7:17am JST Thursday 31 January 2008 (day 13826) I got tired of waiting for the nurse to come back in and insert the catheter i my arm, so I got out of the warm bath and went out to the information desk to ask for directions on how to get to a certain area indicated on a map. The map was in the Metropolis magazine I have here and had folded backwards, but I had changed the page from tat one. Thanks to my careful backwards fold, I was able to find the correct page easily, but not fast enough before the nurse came back and I quickly ran back to the warm bath and jumped in with Ami and the warm water kept my arm warm. Then someone said, "there is a storm outside, but no rain," and I was like, "how can hat be??" and then a huge cloud of dust hit the window beside me and then flipped the tub upsid down over me as the house collapsed around me. I was safe inside the heavy iron tub, and quit glad to be there. Eventually the storm subsided and I woke up relieved when the nurse came back and I was safely not in a collapsed building. permalinkCatheter 7:25am JST Thursday 31 January 2008 (day 13826) The doctor came around to insert the catheter; I recognized his technique as he was tapping on the vein near my wrist. Dang. I had wanted the nurse whose technique is much less painful than the doctor, but he, the nurse, was just for prep today, and fortunately the doctor wasn't as painful this time as the first time. permalinkFrancois 2:02pm JST Thursday 31 January 2008 (day 13826) I think Francois is getting a bit antsy. He tried to strangle me when I was having my blood pressure checked. Good thing we are leaving soon. permalink |
