After I-group, I went to McDonald's, where I was approached by a man to whom it took me a bit to warm up, but in the end I bought a book he self published. He's Asano Hideo, traveler, journalist, author. Apparently he overstayed his visa in the US and lost his home/car/life when he got kicked out. At least that's my short and butchered version of the lowlight of his biography.

To promote his work, I'll put it at the top of tomorrow instead the bottom of today.

Damn.

I just found out that while trying to figure out wtf was happening with the live server (why was it timing out???), I sent up to 22,000 emails (one for each of our users) each of FOUR times I tested, with subject and body

Gah.

The good news is, I know *exactly* how it happened, and I likely won't do it again.

The bad news: we still won't have any checks in place to make sure a different human error doesn't make a similarly daft mistake.

But, I just wanted to declare my mistake for the benefit of sending a few giggles to people who read this.

Good day overall, though. I sent $3500 back to the US; I paid my rent through May; I hilariously used white ink (paint) to circle Will Attend on Maruan and Kyoko's wedding invitation RSVP; I got some good shizzle done at work; I tweaked the admin page for ctbriefs.net; I added a new Conspiracy Theory to ctbriefs.net (regarding Diana); ummmm, oh and I've been reading the second book in the Atlantean Secrets Tetralogy. The series is *awesome*. I'm speaking from experience of only the first book and 50 pages of the second, but I'm totally loving the stories.

And, I'm leaving well on time to make it to Otsuka well on time.
