Going to a party type thing with Audrey, and she handed me my boarding pass for the 69th PB voyage! I was like Woohoooooo!!! and super hugging her and stuff. Later whe i looked down at it, the pass was blank, and I realized it was a dream. I tried various things to get it to come back, but no luck.

Climbing arund in a hotel, up and down elevators and eecalators, while being pursued (in a bad way) by a team of women, led by one power hungry woman from some movie production company. I had to climb through less and less well known staircases, and sneak around rooms that were forgotten, including tip toeing over where a guy was mopping; he didn't want to let me through but I told hi I could se the water streaks so I would be sure not tostep in the water. I tip toed over somme obstacles and got to the doror and heardthe bad girl behind it talkeing some strategy, so I locked the door quietly and snuck to another stairwell where a woman was posted, but she didn't do anyting cause I was going *down* the stairs, and then I jumed out to the main area and then to the main levator, but then again didn't get stopped as I was jumping *down* the outer wall, and then around the back of the elevator (hey 've been here in other dreams) and then saw a guy with a motorcycle going into the eelevator, so I figured I could go up with him and it would be unusual enough that he wuldn't be stopped as they wouldn't have been told what to do in case of motorcycles in the elevators.

I got up, wrote the dreams above, took a shower, meditated and realized I hadn't written about last night. So I just wrote the entry "ami" and pre dated it as if I had written it last night. Now it's time to get dressed and ingest.

Oh noes!! For the past *many* mornings, I've always purchased a 1.5 liter bottle of orange juice from the nearby convenience store. Yesterday, I bought the last one they had in stock. I assumed they would get more...

BUT, today there wasn't even a spot for my beloved OJ bottles.

Now, it's quite common for products to be shuffled around, so it could come back soon, but somehow I doubt it. Gah.

So today I bought a two liter bottle of water, which I'll be refilling with water for the forseeable future.

ps: with all those bottles, I decided I would make a chair like the ones Rei and I enjoyed in Rio de Janerio.

Installing more PHP frameworks

Well, I was going to start with Prado, but three of the four "show off your example Prado websites" that I checked were in various states of broken. Nevermind, Prado; good luck with all that brokenness.

Hmmm: here's an interesting idea: no-framework PHP MVC framework. I like what he's saying about not going through a central command structure; I've got ctbriefs set up with individual files for home, admin, write, mypage... I'm going to go through his toot.

Hmmmm. PDO sounds neat; I wonder if it's what I think. I wonder if confirmed that it's available on the ctbriefs server.

I may have gotten an image thing going, but so far it seems like it's too slow. Not sure if a bit of tweaking will fix that.. I understand it's making thumbnails, but it seems to be making thumbnails *each time* it visits a directory, which of course is unacceptable.

Today at work I got a reply to my Happy February email... from Travis! He's a cat I've not seen in *years* since back in Houston at KTRU. He's also in Japan, and has been here for years.. I think a couple more years than I.

Anyway, he was like,

For me, the first two weeks of every month are the busiest.
I have no plans for tomorrow night, though...  By chance you
want to meet up then?  How about dinner?  If so, your GF is
welcome too, of course!

I will be at the Pink Cow tonight, by the way, for the Vegan
Meetup monthly dinner.  I love the food at the Pink Cow! :)

Wot??? *I'm* planning to go to Pink Cow when I meet Dave tonight!!!

So, I met Dave and we headed to Pink Cow, and sure enough Travis was there, and I gave him a hug and got the news that they were completely booked for the vegan meal that night, so Dave and I are at RESPEKT, some kind of coop restaurant maybe.
