I needed to find out the weather for the day, but only had a radio, and I didn't know the frequency of an English radio station, so I went across the street to ask them. It was Methil Drive, where I used to live, and I asked, "are you Mike?" because I didn't quite remember what Mike looked like, and the guy was like, "no, but I moved into his old apartment," and I looked up at where Mike's house had been and found a small apartment complex, shaped like the brick school/jail building where Wende and I used to live together.

This is the second time recently that I've dreamt about Methil. I wonder what's going on t/here.

While enjoying the idea of Francois out on his own adventure, I've been considering a way to let
stray animals check back in to a home base.  First I realized I'd need to get a new critter.  I've
decided he'll be another Rabbit, and his name will be Jacques.  My friend Kris will be purchasing
Jacques soon.

Then I figured out how to let him check in online while he's traveling:

I bought http://isfuzzywilltravel.com so I could make domain names like
http://jacquesrabbit.isfuzzywilltravel.com/ and let people who meet him take pictures and upload
them on his very own wiki.

Just recently I figured out *how* to keep the domain name close to the critter: pet nametags!

Then, oh damn..  my great domain name is cute, but way too long.  So I made a shorter one that's not
quite as descriptive, but close enough:

And that short URL can go on a pet tag pretty easily.

Would you, Sara Dear, like to buy a critter, name it, tag him/her (gently!), and send him/her to
some place in the world with an internet connection and people who can type?

Basically, after making sure the name is available, I'd ask to see a picture of the animal with nametag before setting up its domain.

maruan samba karaoke

Great times at Maruan's party... and to think they've got half nekked samba dancers jittering on stage every night! Fortunately for me, the stage was right next to me, and only a single step off the ground. I wiggled in my chair until one of the dancers pulled me up and Ami filmed me doing a gentle version of Rob's Crazy Dance on stage. Great fun.

Near the end of the meal I met Takashi as we showed off how flexible our hands/fingers are. Basically I won, but he can bend his thumb back almost as far as I.

Then to karaoke where Maruan and I busted out a couple of Eminem songs and Nax and I helped Maruan with Just The Way You Are. Met his friend Julia as we were leaving karoke (she sang Wuthering Heights wonderfully, and a few other Japanese songs which I had never previously heard).. Maruan and Kyoko sang a song that was like "YouはShock" several times, which prolly means you are shocked, but I didn't understand the other lyrics enough to make sense of the context.

The night was in celebration of Maruan's birthday (actually today); at the end I mentioned my 14,000th day party is coming up on July 11th i think. Need to confirm and start pimpin' the date.
