Entries this day: Blessings Busy Megumi Blessings 11:09am JST Friday 13 June 2008 (day 13960) On the way to work, I was like, "aight God, gimme a sign; perhaps 10,000 yen toward our HK trip would be nice." Got two emails in a row from Helma: one talking about an astrology course that I'd ostensibly like to take, and one talking about working as staff for 3 months in Lynnskill, just before 3 months working as staff in Hidden Valley (total would be July 3rd to February somethingth) Wow! Staff? Income? 6 months in Australia doing intense personal growth work? Sign me up!!! I called Helma to verify my Qs and she said, "oh, it's volunteer staff," and then later, "well, remember Lynnskill is in New York." [blink] Oh. Nevamind! So I'm still interested in the Hidden Valley staffing thing; I hope that can be sorted out after working for OM and then Jen can cover for me in November when she comes back to Tokyo! permalinkBusy 3:34pm JST Friday 13 June 2008 (day 13960) Been pretty sorta busy at work, adding pages to the wiki, revamping old pages.. this is great practice at making documentation; it's way harder than I even suspected, and I thought it would be difficult. Well, I thought it would be tedious, but I started documenting without having drawn out an overview of what I wanted the documentation to look like, and in some ways, that's been difficult. BUT, I don't know what a documentation map would do except be a map already, so I didn't make it. I gues the real issue is having started with the wiki, where image filenames are not easily changed, and everything I enter just vanishes into the black box of the DB. I don't always know what all has been entered and what all needs to be entered and how new things compare to ones that have already been entered. - - - - But that's not why I'm writing. Just about to go take a bit of a break. permalinkMegumi 12:30pm JST Friday 13 June 2008 (day 13960) Megumi called me today and told me basically what she wants to do with her website. It's a lot smaller / simpler than I had expected. More along the lines of most of the sites I built for MR Laboratories. permalink |
