Even had I slept a normal number of hours, I'd consider this a bit early to be on the train bound for Shibuya given that the 定時 start time is 11am. On this day, I woulda considered sleepin' a lot longer, but I'll already be taking a significant number of moments away from the project by going to Apple Store to get the R of my RGB output to work, and to get the

dammit.

I had a feeling I was forgetting something.

I forgot to bring the big bag to hold my canvases from The Pink Cow. Welp, I guess I'll use something else to protect them.

While waiting for them to call my name at the Mac Store, I was readin' (via slashdot) a New York Times article on the history of internet trolling. 4chan and then Encyclopedia Dramatica.

At Apple Store again; they've confirmed it's the logic board on my computer that's missing the R of the RGB monitor output. So they've gotta replace the board again. Gah.

So I gotta sign the dead hard drive paper and leave it here again.

Gah. Still no real breaksthroughs. Gotta sit back and flowchart and chop the snot out of some code. I printed it so I could get a better view of what's going on. Actually had Sho print it cause I couldn't get the printer driver installed on my PowerBook. Firefox kept crashing like a dummy, I think cause of some javascript craziness I'm trying to do. I've probably got memory overruns beyond its ability to cope with them, but dang.

Met Akiko for almost an hour during which I gave her the painting she bought (Party) and the painting Rimi bought (Blind Lines), and the four small paintings that weren't bought so perhaps they can be sold at Rimi's house-art-party.

We did the painting transfer outside by the green train car near Hachiko, and then stepped over to the Lawson's near EV so she could quickly step into her lesson and we'd have a quiet place to chat. I complained about my student Komatsu, though trying to keep it fair, if not objective. Akiko was shocked at (my version of) his behavior, so I felt a bit better / justified in my rant.

On the train now with my bigger art pieces touching the knees of the two guys on either side of me. I've got the pieces side by side in one big bag; I didn't remember to bring a towel or something so I could safely stack them up more compactly.

Started at 10:30pm, cause Natalia had to work late, but we enjoyed a lovely time with 鈴木さんたち and me an' Natalia. Ami woulda come, but she's with family in Kumamoto. I've been really blessed to have such a genki friendly housemate as Natalia.

I just remembered: I felt a cute earthquake last night just as I was entering the sleep zone. I had started dreaming, and was basically unconscious of my physical form until it happened.
