I'm quite happy with my MacBook's battery / power management these days. I think I've found the trick. Do not run your computer with both battery and power plugged in for hours and hours. What I've been doing is plugging in to get the battery to full capacity, and then unplugging and letting the battery run down to 0 capacity. Then plugging back in and charging to full capacity, etc etc. Last night I let my computer run down to 0 capacity and when I came back today it was fully off and unresponsive until I plugged it back in. But then once I plugged it in, it woke from sleep and everything was restored to the way I left it last night. (except my Samba connection was dropped, but that could be because its IP address changed or something. (I don't know enough about Samba to say.))

Not impressed with how late John is in seeing me for our first (last ?) session. I mean, he said a little late, but this has been over 30 minutes.

I would have stayed at work if I had known what he meant by "a little late."

Was on the edge of leaving, but a coin toss suggested I stay. I'm glad I did; it's better to face the issue instead of get grumpy and run away with hurt feelings on both sides.

I described to him the concept of a makeup, and he offered an extra bit of energy work; I accepted and all was clear between us.

The actual process this evening included lots of interesting subtle energies coursing around my body; it was neat.

Wow! Saw Kanae jogging; actually she saw me; I must embarrassedly admit I didn't recognize her partially because she was speaking only Japanese, and cause she was all hot-n-sweaty from jogging. I didn't chat very long cause she was jogging, and I was still chatting with John, but gave her U-Cow's card and asked her to get in touch. I need to get my *own* name cards made so I can give out something with my email address.
