Entries this day: Level_3_Reiki Mama_de_Ami See_Ami_tomorrow Level 3 Reiki 12:49pm JST Saturday 18 October 2008 (day 14087) I've now been initiated into level 3 reiki. Mia said that level 2 is about healing self and others, and level 3 is about connecting to higher Self and using reiki daily for doing personal work. Good news I'm interested in, and have been doing personal work for years. The best news: the 4th symbol is easier than the 3rd symbol. Interesting news: Mia asked if I was aware I had been chosen as the Helper for the next ATE. A bit of confusion followed until we (and I) sorted out the following:
Mama de Ami 4:13pm JST Saturday 18 October 2008 (day 14087) Went to see Ami's mom at the hospital where she works and is now a patient. To get there, I rode TJ Bike to Ami's house and her dad drove us to the hospital. We didn't talk much in the 10 minutes with 2 movie-filled TVs in the car, or the 40 or so minutes with the same movie in the hospital, but he did say "thank you [for coming]" and asked where I work, and if I plan to stay in Japan fo-e-va. Now Ami and I are in Azalea in Kawasaki for foodage at a pasta shop which thankfully disallows smoking in the shop. permalinkSee Ami tomorrow 5:44pm JST Saturday 18 October 2008 (day 14087) Though I'll see her tomorrow, it was hard to say bye to Ami in Kawasaki station. I asked if she could spare a few more minutes, and she said yes, but needed to hit the loo. I started taking her to a "quiet" area of the station, which happened to have restrooms, so I waited for her and then when she came out, I took her bag and put it down by mine, asked her to close her eyes and come close so I could give her a hug. The hug lasted about 5 minutes, and then I adjusted position and we hugged about 3 more minutes. I simply wanted to provide a space where she could cry; I think she hasn't done enough crying (but maybe she has).. permalinkprev day next day |
