Dream

5:16am JST Sunday 14 December 2008 (day 14144)

Cold in bed, so trying to get organized with the puppy to keep us warm. Puppy was a long daschound maybe four feet long and a foot in diameter.

when I woke up from that dream, the emotional feeling was quite gentl and lovely. I didn't want to get out of bed. I adjested my covers a bit and went back to sleep, despite having noticed that I forgot to brush my teeth last night.

6:19am JST Sunday 14 December 2008 (day 14144)

Just finished with work, in a new part of the city. I was outide with papers all around; my work mates had just left sortof surprisingly, I was suddenly free to do whatever. Still had papers on the grud, but I called Sarah from Perth and was like, "where are you guys?" and wanted to meet up with whoever she was with. Actually I just wanted to meet up with her, but she's a social animal, always with people around.

It's drizzling outside. Actually a bit more like rain. Sortof a nice sprinkle, except that it's SO COLD! (8 degrees C according to my phone)

Yesterday

Typing about yesterday while on the train today.

I pretty much finished coding to the degree possible without trying to recreate on my server the DB tables we have at work. I logged my hours with a note like, "99.7% sure this will work."

I worked on Marble Track 3 (adding perhaps 20 frames), where the gluer guy and the placer guy both fall at the same time. The placer drops a popsicle stick on his foot while the gluer is startled to find a pipecleaner snaking across his foot.

Ami came for a visit and cooked some yummy pumpkin stew for dinner and for my lunch today. We romped twice and had a little tickle fight after our second nap. permalink
