Entries this day: Fuji-Q_Highland Home_side List_of_bugs Fuji Q Highland 11:28am JST Saturday 10 January 2009 (day 14171) Fred and I are back at Fuji-Q Highland, after our aborted trip some years ago. 4 years ago, now I guess. This time, we got into the park! But, the attractions we came to ride are not running, due to snow and high winds. Though the snow already fell, and the high winds must be really gentle, or something. Anyway, we did Zola 7, then the audio-ghost house next to it, and then skipped the tea cups (Fred wants bumper tea cups) on the way to where we are now (in the maze game that janette and I played multiple times until we won), but we got sidetracked at the coffin-ride haunted house thing. (mostly audio, with some shaking, a bit of water, and a faces jumping up out of the coffins in front of us.) 1:06pm JST That mountain ride is a different setup; it appears that we can't cheat it like janette and I did to win last time we played over and over until we won. (That was fun.) Then we saw a water ride (4 people per innertube boat, with glass sides to keep us from getting very wet). While we waited in line, ドドンパ started running, so we bolted out of line (to Ami's chagrin?) and jumped into the ドドンパ line as test rides were being run. While we waited in line, they announced that the ride didn't meet safety specs, so it wouldn't be carrying any human cargo for now. Gah. Now we're at a burger place; Fred's refusing to eat cause he refuses to give Fuji-Q any more money. 2:23pm JST Saturday 10 January 2009 (day 14171) And now we're on the train headed home. Pretty much a wasted trip to Fuji-Q. Ah well. Good things:
Home side 6:31pm JST Saturday 10 January 2009 (day 14171) We're back on the home side of town, as in, we're back at my place. Ami is zonked on my bed. Fred is zonked on his bed. I'm downstairs in the kitchen going to work on the flash game for chatforest. Just met Locohama (not his real name) who moved into recently. Finally, another American! He's also a writer, so we have that in common, too. His blog is Loco in Yokohama. I haven't read much yet, but he's written a book in addition to his bloggin', and wants to write another. permalinkList of bugs 6:38pm JST Saturday 10 January 2009 (day 14171) Because I've never gotten a bug tracker installed on my site. I'm going to use this. Actually, if DH has a bug tracker as an easy install, I'll do that real quick here: 6:50pm JST Saturday 10 January 2009 (day 14171) They have dotProject, but it's too big. 7:09pm JST Saturday 10 January 2009 (day 14171) I tried installing phpBugTracker, but it requires magic_quotes, which will be removed from PHP 6, and is deprecated from the current version. 7:10pm JST Saturday 10 January 2009 (day 14171) Now trying bugzilla 7:29pm JST Saturday 10 January 2009 (day 14171) Couldn't get it to install. Problem in the log: malformed header from script. Bad header=* This is Bugzilla 3.2 on perl: checksetup.pl Sorry to anyone who found this; I don't have a solution for you. 7:32pm JST Saturday 10 January 2009 (day 14171) Because I've never gotten a bug tracker installed on my site. I'm going to use this.
