Talk with Ami

That's Talk with a capital T.

Basically I got the massage gig at the last minute today and therefore needed to go to Shibuya, and therefore ought not come all the way back home just to chill for two hours before going all the way back. It's basically 45 minutes each way, including walking. Or maybe just under an hour. Anyway, Ami came over even so, and she was like, 寝て寝て and I quickly fell asleep for an hour of our two hours and then in the last 30 minutes we finally Talked and I was like, "so yeah, I want to break up with you. Oh, and I gotta go."

And she was like, "I jus' wanna be with you!!" and I'm like, "argh" and thankfully she respected my need to leave.

Vegan night

1:39am JST Thursday 12 February 2009 (day 14204)

Vegan night was cool, as expected. Sat with はるな、きよみ、Kate, and Dave. A woman came up a bit later and was introduced to me as Miki, and I was like, "now *that*'s a name I an remember!" and explained that KG Miki was one of my favorite peeps in Japan when I first got started here. I was duly mocked for a bit, and then explained "well actually I called her Kindergarten Miki, cause she was a kindergarten teacher, so it sounds even worse." and Dave was subsequently accused of having a fetish for Kingergarten kids, and he and I would clarify "teacher after the word Kindergartners.

Funny times.

ami Talk

1:44am JST Thursday 12 February 2009 (day 14204)

Came back home. Ami had gone home and come back to continue our Talk. I sat down, "Well, right now I don't want to break up with you.." and went on a long tirade of my spiritual growth trajectory, including how I think TV is horrid, and how this physical stuff isn't real.

"These are just monkey suits, and our spirits live inside."

Somehow, in the end, I closed with the theory that we all recreate our painful situations so we can hopefully solve them this time around. Ami wants to hear, "I love you, therefore please stay with me forever." I want to hear, "I love you, so you are free to do anything you want."

At the very end, we both got what we wanted. I told her I want her to stay forever, and she told me I could have sex with anyone I wanted. Awesome. There's a 95% chance I won't do it, but there was a 90% chance I wouldn't do it before she said that. I mostly just want the permission.

When she left, I was so happy that I did a surprise that I've been planning for a while. I climbed out of my balcony and came around the front of the house to give her a final hug and kiss.

It's 5 degrees now, and is supposed to get up to a high of 18 (low of
9) on Saturday, but then a high of only 9 degrees (low of 4) on
Monday!  Sounds like it won't be too warm next week!

Hmmm that's a bit tight, but there is a fast train from Shinagawa to
the airport for 1330 yen (or more if you get a reserved seat)

What time can you get up?  To give enough time, we should probably
meet around 10am.  That's a bit early for me, but I'll do my best!
