Entries this day: Krank Recently TLUG Krank 9:32am JST Friday 13 February 2009 (day 14205) Last night I let Krank play and play by itself on Easy Level 27. It didn't remove any of the stones in a 6 hour period. I guess it's more rare than I had hoped. (basically requires 4 of 6 same colored stones to arrive at a certain spot on the field before any of the other 18 other-color bubbles arrive in the same spot..) There are four spots, each with its desire to get 4 same-colored bubbles. The bubbles are literally little circles that move around the screen, bouncing off the sides and each other in a nicely chaotic way. They move nearly frictionlessly, only losing a bit of energy when they bounce off the sides of the screen. But then gaining a lot of energy after four bubbles collect on the hot spots, and then are exploded away at high speeds. Anyway, a couple days ago, after a few hours of auto-play, one of the hotspots had apparently received exactly 4 of its color bubbles and was removed from the screen. I thought an overnight adventure might do even better. permalinkRecently 2:32pm JST Friday 13 February 2009 (day 14205) Went to lunch at the 7-plate-minimum train-sushi shop with Awinter today before he headed to work. I'm now on top of Tokyu Department Store in Shibuya, sorta freezing from cold wind, but getting a few emails written. Yesterday I Oh wait, I need to write one more email. 2:43pm JST Okay. Just sent an email to Janetta, the registrar for the Aussie ISIS course. Right now I am (and over the past couple days I've been) listening to Stanislav Grof several hours worth of lectures on wholotropic states of consciousness, thanks to Krimms suggestion during our Kagoshima adventure. Good stuff. Recently have been in touch with a woman who will be giving an Ayurveda intro on Sunday for Circle of Light in Ogikubo. I won't be able to go... er, I'm choosing to go skiing with Ami and family instead of the Ayurveda thing, and wonder if I'm making the "wrong" choices at a conjuncture in my life. Traci mused about subletting her space in the morning for, perhaps massage sessions, or, I'm wondering about a meditation circle could (?) work? Not sure. Want to email Mia soon; I gave her a reiki-massage, and have yet to collect a session from her (psycho-何とか何とか). I think I'll call her now. permalinkTLUG 10:32pm JST Friday 13 February 2009 (day 14205) Good time at the TLUG (Tokyo Linux User's Group) meeting tonight. Sach invited me. At the station we met Leo, ____ and ____. Dang I forgot their names. At the restaurant, I sat at a table corner between Mike and Shin. Leo sat on Mike's left. Bruce sat to Shin's right. Tomita to his right. ISPs was the hot topic of the evening, with Bruce telling Leo all about it. Sorta left Mike, me, and Shin in a loud zone where it wasn't that easy to talk. But dassalright; we sorted it out. I imagine I seemed a bit odd by saying I don't drink, and talking about the importance of meditation and real spirituality as opposed to religion. Tomita will probably come to Zeitgeist on 8 March. permalinkprev day next day |
