Entries this day: Nina's_arrival Today_Zeitgeist_movie_poster Nina's arrival 3:00pm JST Sunday 1 March 2009 (day 14221) Andrew: What did you do all weekend?2:25 PM me: Yesterday I met up with a guy who does FOREX (foreign exchange), and is beginning to teach other English speakers how to do it in Tokyo 2:26 PM He's got a place called ELF-Cooperative out in Tachikawa, where I will likely have an art show in combination with a Brazilian dinner in two weeks though that's not confirmed yet, so I can't invite you yet. Andrew: nice me: so if'n you're interested, pencil it into your calendar 2:27 PM I'm thinking I should put posters for my movie up at the Pink Cow but I don't have a way to print them er, not print them free of charge 2:28 PM Andrew: What day would the dinner be? me: Sunday 15 March 2:29 PM if it works out the way I'm thinking, my art would be up on Saturday the 14th and the 15th as well Andrew: I might not be able to make it then me: no worries Andrew: My friend is getting married on the 14th so I'll be in Nagoya me: yay! 2:30 PM doorbell 2:33 PM new housemate, Nina, from Germany, is pretty cute! Andrew: nice 2:34 PM German girls are pretty cute if they're from Germany. Wisconsin German's not so much... me: hahaha she's definitely from Germany 2:35 PM according to her accent, and ability to speak German Andrew: Yeah That's usually a good indicator Not always... but usually me: Yes, I'll agree it's an ASSumption, but 2:38 PM Andrew: She could be a WW2 era English or American spy trained to speak fluent German with a German accent. Or she could actually be from Germany. 2:39 PM me: And a careful makeover to make her look like she's only 20 years old or she could actually be from Germany, only 20 years old 2:40 PM Andrew: Well she obviously must have been working in a secret Nazi time travel facility to learn their secrets and prevent the change of history Then an accident sent her to the year 2007 2:41 PM Now she's in Japan trying to access secret Japanese research to send herself back and prevent the Nazis from getting their hands on future technology ... or not 2:42 PM me: And no way to find out the truth!!!! Argh!! What do you think I should do? Call the NSA? Andrew: No they won't be able to help 2:43 PM It would have been classified ABOVE TOP SECRET me: then we're screwed.. Andrew: And there would be no way to verify the information me: dude I'm getting scared here... the thing is she's in the room next to me!! shhhhhhhh type very very quietly. 2:44 PM Andrew: She's probably monitoring your chats me: GAH! How could I have been so boneheaded??? (( okay )) (( I'm )) (( invisible )) (( shhhh )) 2:45 PM Andrew: No worries me: You should probably wash your computer after you log out 2:46 PM Andrew: (( It's common knowledge that using (()) will hide your message from tracking devices )) me: (( yes )) Andrew: I will wash my computer now me: ((( good ))) 2:47 PM ((( extra level of encryption ))) 2:48 PM ((( do you know anyone who has actually used the curly bracket encryption? I heard that is quantum unbreakable ))) Andrew: no (( you're the first )) 2:50 PM me: (( no no, this is just parenthesis encryption )) I mean curly brackets. (( oh shit I forgot to encrypt! Now she'll know for sure! I'm so screwed! )) 2:54 PM Aight I gots to get goin' BYE ((( going to wash my computer now ))) Andrew: peace 2:55 PM take it easy me: peace!

I'm on the train to Shibuya now to print it and post it at The Pink Cow, and say HI to Traci and confirm our plan for Sunday, which will include a shiatsu-enhanced massage for her, and then Zeitgeist Addendum, and the smoove stylins of FLO Union. permalink |
