I set up lilurl at http://art.robnugen.com/, but plan to only allow it to shorten URLs that include the string "robnugen.com/wiki", so don't try to shorten anything else. I think I'll password protect it, or perhaps only let it shorten URLs that also contain the string "Image:"

Anyway, the first image with a URL on the service is Colleenie Beanie's painting, at art.robnugen.com/0. I'm pretty happy with that. 1 - 6 will be the six paintings I made as a set, and then I may use the image names qw(island, strips, yellow, spiral) for the four F-10 canvases I started in 2007 and had in The Pink Cow, and now up at ELF in Tachikawa.

My art is still up at ELF in Tachikawa! Three paintings sold during my recent art show, which I guess should now be referred to as my recent art opening, and Mark and I decided the rest of the paintings looked good and should stay up on the walls! Nice!

So, if you're in Tachikawa, stop by ELF CO-OPERATIVE and check out my art! The pieces are all for sale, and soon will all have their own URLs at art.robnugen.com. Haven't figured out details yet, but yes yes yes!

Job interview

Just finished a job interview (almost 100% written, including several logic tests, some of which I had no idea.

One question was like, "write a bunch of sentences appealing yourself and start with I. ex. I am a nice person."

I started with "I believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every person," and went from there, sometimes awesomely, sometimes not, and ending with "I encourage people to find their own strengths and power."

I took a picture of the page, wanting to post its contents here, but was asked by Rumi to delete the photo. In front of her. Ah well.

Yurika lesson

Been chillin' in the cafe where Yurika and I will have our lesson starting at 7pm. I've been here since just after 5:30, and she got here around 6:35.

I've been writing about Fred, and now I'll write a little bit about Yurika.
