Entries this day: Dentist_free Emailer_for_TPC Soness jmw Dentist free 12:45pm JST Monday 20 April 2009 (day 14271) I went to my dentist today and he filled a little gap in my tooth free of charge! Normally it would be 2500 yen, but I think he didn't charge me because I gave him a poken last week. Sweet! permalinkEmailer for TPC 12:46pm JST Monday 20 April 2009 (day 14271) Now going to surf the waves of the internet. Free at my old work if possible.. Otherwise at a cafe. 5:27pm JST Monday 20 April 2009 (day 14271) Chatted with Andrew today at my ex-work; he said things are going about like they were going when I was let go. During my visit, I was generally working on installing the new Dada mailer for Traci at The Pink Cow. Hopefully it eases the work required for her to send her weekly emails. permalinkSoness 10:48pm JST Monday 20 April 2009 (day 14271) Soness, who was going to come chat with me about poken plans, basically had to cancel her trip because her train was delayed. She had been hoping to come out around 4pm to Shibuya, but was delayed by cleaning out her closet (literally and metaphorically), and then when the train kept stopping, never ended up making it out. Sigh. I like chatting with her! permalinkjmw 10:23pm JST Monday 20 April 2009 (day 14271) JMW stands for Japan Music Week, a project that plans to grow to be like South by Southwest in Austin. This is JMW's inaugural year, and I'm excited to be part of its inception. Well, that depends on how one defines inception, but I'm definitely in on the early stages of this. If you're a music / event promoter who wants to put on an event in the Shibuya area during the week of 9-15 November, email me and I'll give you info on the pre-launch party+information meeting this Wednesday night! At the meeting today, in and out at various times: me, Bob, Ani, Matt, Yuki, Jon, Ed, Rie, Alex, Roman, DJ James, and DJ Daisha (sp). Daisha bought a poken; she immediately saw how cool they are! I'm excited that she whipped out her computer and wireless internet USB alongside her poken USB and registered right away (*)! I'm in charge of designing wrist bands for the pre-launch party presentation on Wednesday. (*) She registered after the main meeting was over, and we all went to a little coffee shop where Jon bought our vittles. I got an anko bagel. Yummy. 1:27am JST Afterward, Bob treated me at a great gyoza place; we got three sets of gyoza and shared them, plus shared our favorite iPhone games. (Him: Labrynth, me: Dapple) I think we each think the game we have is better. He's lookin' to put up a website soon for his new business. I can help with that! - - - - Hey Bob

I found another reason not to use Microsoft Front Page. It doesn't exist anymore. It's been replaced with a different product, which for similar reasons, I don't recommend. Homesite has been purchased by Adobe/Macromedia. I don't know if it's changed as a result. Looking through wikipedia a bit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ If I used Windows, I would check out these: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ I am too tired to install them properly or do much more research now, but it seems to me you won't have to pay money to get a WYSIWYG HTML editor.
