Entries this day: Got_my_rent_paid Headed_to_clinical_drug_trial Lab_test_results Pink_Cow-Go_lesson email_to_Cylinda Got my rent paid 12:28pm JST Wednesday 13 May 2009 (day 14294) woo! permalinkHeaded to clinical drug trial 12:28pm JST Wednesday 13 May 2009 (day 14294) I'm headed to a pre-screening for a clinical drug trial of a drug called Alina. The clinic hosting the trial is not the same as CPC in Kagoshima, though. Soon I'll know more details. permalinkLab test results 3:25pm JST Wednesday 13 May 2009 (day 14294) I don't have lab test results yet, but I have a sense of what the clinical trial will be like. They've got a floor allocated for the trial participants, with eight beds in each of three rooms, and three TVs in the main room, next to the nurses' station, and then four shower-bath combos on one side of the building. Anyway, hopefully it will be nice. permalinkPink Cow Go lesson 11:28pm JST Wednesday 13 May 2009 (day 14294) Helped Jasmine and her student Tomoko get started, but actually Soness was the most help with her excellent realtime translation. I really love how she really translates in realtime, even though the grammars are different, she can align them so they work out correctly. It's really cool to watch and listen. Helped Soness with her questions about how to handle her computer's lack of HD space. I basically recommended she get an external drive because she wants to do some podcasts so I figure she'll need some realtime access, and not just massive storage. permalinkemail to Cylinda Hey Cylinda Last night was listening to Project Camelot's interview of David Icke, a man who had some profound experiences related to the nature of reality. What most people think of as "reality," he describes as a hologram in our minds. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2901551106819918394 He's essentially referring to a tipping point as well! Strictly speaking, I have not had an interest in astrology. I've not gotten over my question of how planets "out there" can affect me "in here" But if I also believe we are all one, etc, then of course everything is related. I won't ask you to sell me on astrology, but I'd be interested in reading a FAQ that addresses this question and others, if you know of one. I've been hanging out semi-regularly at The Pink Cow, helping launch Cow-Go, the Creative Language Network of The Pink Cow! Would you be interested in teaching astrology to people? The general idea: after they pay 5000 yen registration, students pay 3000 yen per month to The Pink Cow to get a 10% discount-card at The Pink Cow, plus ability to choose from teachers via Cow-Go. Students pay 3000 yen per lesson directly to the teacher. Blessings - Rob!permalink prev day next day |
