Lesson with Emiko featured 45 minutes of me trying to extend another 15 minutes, and then I asked if this style of lesson was good for her. Next lesson we're going to go do an hour of karaoke in English. Awesome!

Met Mick after lesson with Emiko. He'd like to get some extra work, so was asking the haps for Cow-Go. I told him the situation and everything seemed cool with both of us.

Pink Cow

Went to The Pink Cow for delicious buffet dinner tonight. Pleased that Moonie pretty much sat next to me anytime she wasn't working, that is, until her friend showed up, which kinda makes it sound bad, but really, she knows I'll be in there at least a few times this week so she'll see me again. Talked about her dogs Karma and Dharma, which are pretty much the two cutest names for dogs ever. Dharma was found shivering next to his sibling's tire-crushed body on the roadway, so he's pretty shakey still. Anyway, we talked about our latest adventures and stuff like that.

I also spoke with Traci a bit, and got a new Cow-Go card for Emiko and one for Marina (I think); I haven't met her yet.

Oh man I'm tired. On the train headed home now.

Woah. That's a first. I just met a Japanese man; actually he started talking to me first (that's the surprising part) and he told me his wife had just died two months ago. Damn. Takeshi in my men's group just went through the same thing 8 months ago, and.. well he has a men's group with whom to talk about it.

I gave my new friend my card as he got off the train at the station before mine. I wonder if he'll contact me.
