Mom update

So on the 26th, after Soness's mom called to say she had missed the flight, they spent 5 hours on Skype spiraling around in conversation about a whole mess of things and they decided her mom would call back at 8pm but she didn't call so, uabwmaah, Soness cried herself to sleep. I woke up a few minutes later and told Anna the updated status.

The next morning (27th), Soness's mom called all chipper, "okay; it's handled! I arranged the flight so I can leave in 12 hours from now and be there soon!" but Soness was like, "um, no; you didn't call me last night and too much crying has been involved; I want to go alone." So now Soness is going alone to Thailand to recharge and relax sonessly.

coquelicot lesson

Coquelicot called me at 7:32pm while I was just getting ready to head out of work. "HI Akiko!" I knew why she must have called.

"HI Rob."

"Do we have a lesson right now?"

"Yes."

"Okay, um,.."

"I didn't email you."

"That's okay! um, I can be there in 30 minutes at 8pm; is that okay?"

"Yes."

So I showed my latest and greatest to Alfonzo after comitting it to SVN (I want us to get git) and headed out.

Lesson was good. Man I can remember the first times we met back in English Village Kichijoji. She said she spoke French and my heart was aflutter. We've never gone out nor even touched (though she apologized when her elbow barely brushed my shoulder when she was putting on her jacket (I was sitting at the time)) but she's certainly beautiful.
