Entries this day: AM_Soness Work emiko_lesson pick_up_computer_box_for_Soness AM Soness 8:49am JST Wednesday 28 October 2009 (day 14462) Was just setting up to do my meditation in the morning (actually I've not done it in nearly two weeks) when Soness came down to chill with me just before she heads out on a solo mother-daughter trip to Thailand. I was thankful for the connection (because we had seemed to be at odds with each other for a couple days late last week). I was sitting just in front of the couch and she sat on the couch behind me. I just sorta flopped back for a sorta reverse hug for a few minutes. As much as we love and hate each other, we make good homies. We're going to meet during lunch today; she'll probably come by my work (for the first time) and bring her new PC for some quite usage tutoring. The hardware is fine ($450 for some generic(?) manufacturer's answer to Mac Air), but it's got Windows Vista as its OS. I suggested that she get it, and if the OS proves unstable, we can install Ubuntu on it. permalinkWork 7:06pm JST Wednesday 28 October 2009 (day 14462) work was aight, though I didn't reallllly feel all that productive. Worked on some security stuff, which is certainly important, but sorta hard to see the difference between them. permalinkemiko lesson 8:37pm JST Wednesday 28 October 2009 (day 14462) Met Emiko at 7:20 for our hour lesson. This is the first time I've seen her since she was all touchyfeely on me while drunk at The Pink Cow a couple weeks ago. Not a word was uttered about it, and not a touchyfeeling moment occured today. permalinkpick up computer box for Soness 9:59pm JST Wednesday 28 October 2009 (day 14462) Today I picked up Soness's computer box which she left in a restaurant in Shinagawa (*) when she ran out of time before her train to catch her flight to Thailand. I picked it up, had a hand made hand eaten meal (nan and curry) and worked on one of my most recent mazes. I'm enjoying making mazes. (* which Anna pronounced "Shinagua" yesterday; it was so cute! permalink |
